Q: Starter Email Market

I am new to this game. I assume that I should have a lead list of email subscribers first before I use this program. I was wondering, does this program compares to MailerLite?

A: Hi, thanks for asking.

You don’t need to have a lead list before you start using this program. You can start from scratch. MailBluster usually gives you tools to create signup forms, popups or integrations to help you collect leads (email addresses) over time.
The list should ideally be your own domain's subscribers — people who have subscribed to hear from you. You can collect your subscribers using a form on your website. In that case, you can also use MailBluster's built-in forms. Here's a helpful guide to get you started: https://mailbluster.com/blog/mailbluster-forms.

And yes, MailBluster is similar to MailerLite. Both are email marketing platforms that help you collect and manage subscriber emails, send email campaigns or newsletters, automate welcome messages or promotions, and track how many people open or click your emails. The main difference might be in features, pricing, or how beginner-friendly it feels — but the core purpose is the same: helping you reach your audience through email.

Q: Looks Good But Not Clear!!

I have the following questions/doubts.
1. Can we start sending emails with the assigned credits without connecting to AWS?
2. What happens if we run out of email credits? Is it possible to purchase more?
3. Are these credit limits for sending emails?
4. Once we've linked your AWS account, will there be any ongoing or transaction fees involved?
5. Is it possible to use this AppSumo code on our current account?
I appreciate your assistance in advance.

A: Hi, thanks for your questions! Let me answer them one by one:

1. At the moment, emails can only be sent after connecting AWS with your MailBluster brand. We truly understand this might not be ideal for everyone, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. But the good news is that we are already integrating other popular SMTP providers as well. Very soon we will roll out Postmark and MailGun. Check out our public roadmap https://mailbluster.com/public-roadmap#/10/
Please feel free to suggest your favourite SMTP providers, we will integrate those as well.

2. Yes! You can purchase more at just $0.40 per 1,000 emails (the regular price is $0.60). Plus, there’s no yearly subscription fee ($60). That means with this AppSumo deal, you’ll save at least $300 over five years, and on top of that, you’ll get lifetime access to all Pro features (eg. automation, custom fields, pro-templates, etc.)—no hidden fees, no recurring costs.

3. Yes, the credits are for the total number of emails you will send.

4. Once you've linked your AWS account, there will be no extra fee from MailBluster. But AWS will charge a small fee—about $0.0001 per email, or free if you're in the AWS free tier (which includes 3,000 free emails per month for the first year).

5. We are sorry to say that this deal is for new MailBluster brands only. Also, one license can be used for one brand.

Let me know if you have any questions.

A: Hi Carl, thank you for asking.

Yes, the number of emails in the AppSumo deal is total, not monthly or yearly, and never expires. You can use them anytime, at your own pace—over months or even years. They’re yours for life!

Once your email credits are used up, you can continue sending emails at a discounted rate of $0.40 per 1,000 emails (regular price is $0.60 per 1,000). Plus, there is no yearly subscription fee ($60). That means with this AppSumo deal, you’ll save at least $300 over five years, and on top of that, you’ll get lifetime access to all Pro features (eg. Automation, Custom Fields, Pro Templates etc.)—no hidden fees, no recurring costs.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

A: Hi, thanks for asking.

1. Yes, you can store an unlimited number of contacts without any additional charge.

2. To get everything fully set up, you'll need:
- This AppSumo license
- A verified, approved, and out-of-sandbox active AWS account connected with your MailBluster brand
- Access to your domain’s DNS settings to configure MX, SPF, DKIM records of your sender domain for proper email deliverability

If you need any assistance during setup, feel free to reach out to our support center—we’re always happy to help!

Q: How many brands or lists?

Hi there,

I've got 3 questions:

1/ I had tested Mailbluster years ago, and it worked very well, but didn't go further because of non existant email automation. It seems that this service is now available, right?
2/ I'm interested in the lifetime deal, and can't understand why people are complaining about the offer... but I can't find any information about the number of brands or lists I can create with one account. I've got 4 websites and I've got more than one list by website. Would I need one subscription per brand, or can I use one account for my different brands?
3/ Do you have subscription forms and popups that can be used on Wordpress?

Thanks in advance for your time and answers

A: Hi, thank you for asking.

1. Yes, MailBluster now includes email automation! At the moment, it’s a basic automation that lets you automatically send emails (or a sequence of emails) to people who subscribe through your website. We’re also actively working on expanding automation triggers, which will be available in our later releases.
2. Each license is for a single organization / brand in MailBluster. If you buy 1 license, you will be able to use in 1 organization / brand. So if you have 4 different websites/brands, you’d need one license for each brand. One account can’t be used across multiple brands under a single license.
3. Yes, we do offer subscription forms and popup forms for WordPress! Here’s a guide to help you get started: https://mailbluster.com/blog/mailbluster-forms

Let me know if you have any questions.
