Q: Does the $59 deal on app sumo send unlimited emails or 30,000 cold emails?
I am currently using Instantly AI and I am paying $97 a month and I would be interested in saving money. But can I only send 30,000 emails in total with this? Or 30,000 emails per month? What if I delete old emails and want to send new emails then could I send more than 30,000 emails with the $59 deal? Let me know as I am potentially interested but I need to be able to send more than 30,000 emails over the lifetime use of this deal.
If you purchase the Tier 1 AppSumo deal for $59, you’ll get 30,000 email credits in total. This is a lifetime limit, not per month or per year, and it never expires. You can use these credits at your own pace whether over a few months or several years and they’re yours for life.
Deleting old emails won’t increase the 30,000 limit, as the deal is based on the total number of emails sent, not stored.
Once your email credits are used up, you can continue sending emails by purchasing additional credits at a discounted rate of $0.40 per 1,000 emails (regular price is $0.60 per 1,000 emails). Plus, there is no yearly subscription fee ($60). That means with this AppSumo deal, you’ll save at least $300 over five years, and on top of that, you’ll get lifetime access to all Pro features (eg. Automation, Custom Fields, Pro Templates etc.)—no hidden fees, no recurring costs. So, if you're currently paying $97/month with Instantly AI, this AppSumo deal could be a great way to save money long-term.
Hi - You made a very smart calculation. On our tire, 59/30000 —> 1.96$ per thousand email 139/200000 —> .69$ per thousand 299/500000 —> .59$ per thousand
So, you are paying less per email as you go up.
But if you want to go on a more economic route, starting with tire 1 is a viable option, as you can always purchase extra credits.
Please feel free to let us know if you have more questions.
Q: Cold Email
Hi, Can your solution be used to send cold emails ?
Yes, you can use our solution MailBluster to send cold emails. But, I would suggest you to clean the list using a email verifier tool before sending out emails to minimize the bounce and complaint rate and to keep your Amazon SES sending reputation high. MailBluster does not block accounts for cold emailing, but Amazon SES has its own rules and restrictions. As long as you comply with Amazon SES’s usage policies and follow best practices (such as list cleaning and avoiding high bounce rates), you should be fine.
I am new to this game. I assume that I should have a lead list of email subscribers first before I use this program. I was wondering, does this program compares to MailerLite?
You don’t need to have a lead list before you start using this program. You can start from scratch. MailBluster usually gives you tools to create signup forms, popups or integrations to help you collect leads (email addresses) over time. The list should ideally be your own domain's subscribers — people who have subscribed to hear from you. You can collect your subscribers using a form on your website. In that case, you can also use MailBluster's built-in forms. Here's a helpful guide to get you started: https://mailbluster.com/blog/mailbluster-forms.
And yes, MailBluster is similar to MailerLite. Both are email marketing platforms that help you collect and manage subscriber emails, send email campaigns or newsletters, automate welcome messages or promotions, and track how many people open or click your emails. The main difference might be in features, pricing, or how beginner-friendly it feels — but the core purpose is the same: helping you reach your audience through email.
I have the following questions/doubts. 1. Can we start sending emails with the assigned credits without connecting to AWS? 2. What happens if we run out of email credits? Is it possible to purchase more? 3. Are these credit limits for sending emails? 4. Once we've linked your AWS account, will there be any ongoing or transaction fees involved? 5. Is it possible to use this AppSumo code on our current account? I appreciate your assistance in advance.
A: Hi, thanks for your questions! Let me answer them one by one:
1. At the moment, emails can only be sent after connecting AWS with your MailBluster brand. We truly understand this might not be ideal for everyone, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. But the good news is that we are already integrating other popular SMTP providers as well. Very soon we will roll out Postmark and MailGun. Check out our public roadmap https://mailbluster.com/public-roadmap#/10/ Please feel free to suggest your favourite SMTP providers, we will integrate those as well.
2. Yes! You can purchase more at just $0.40 per 1,000 emails (the regular price is $0.60). Plus, there’s no yearly subscription fee ($60). That means with this AppSumo deal, you’ll save at least $300 over five years, and on top of that, you’ll get lifetime access to all Pro features (eg. automation, custom fields, pro-templates, etc.)—no hidden fees, no recurring costs.
3. Yes, the credits are for the total number of emails you will send.
4. Once you've linked your AWS account, there will be no extra fee from MailBluster. But AWS will charge a small fee—about $0.0001 per email, or free if you're in the AWS free tier (which includes 3,000 free emails per month for the first year).
5. We are sorry to say that this deal is for new MailBluster brands only. Also, one license can be used for one brand.

Tier 2 costs $80 more than Tier 1 and provides 170,000 more emails. At $0.40 / 1000 emails, that is $68, which is $12 less than Tier 1.
Tier 3 costs $240 more and provides 470,000 more emails. At $0.40 / 1000 emails, that is $188, which is $52 less than Tier 1.
Are there any reasons to choose Tier 2 or 3? Tier 1 seems more economical.
