Q: As there is no trial I bought a monthly subscription for $17.
Many red flags:
- it takes 30 minutes going through the No Thank you I do not want to upgrade, I do not want to get rich in 5 minutes...
- app is not signed so Windows 11 yells it's unsafe
- app uses cybercapture functions = anti-malware blocks the installation
- .net is not included... in 2022? really?
- to add an account it opens a web browser = piggy backing into a session (good to have accounts cancelled)
...
Do you have plan to make it a little more "up-to-date" (API use) and get rid of affiliates links begs and upgrades?
Thank you!

May 15, 2024A: Hello @TheInfoGuy,
Hi TheInfoGuy,
Thanks for using our app. I'd like to give you some clarity on the issues you've raised.
- You purchased directly from us instead of Appsumo. That's a recurring charge. On Appsumo you got a one-time price. When you buy from our site, we give you access to special discounted offers on other products from us. These are optional. If you don't wish to buy them, that's okay.
- If you get an apps warning, please click ignore. The app is completely safe. We are not listed in the app store so it does not require signed. In fact, the signed process means we will not be able to build many automation features that Pinflux has.
- The 'cybercapture' function is a misnomer. Pinflux uses the Internet and server communication (obviously it has to). Some firewalls or malware apps may attempt to block that and show you a warning. You can safely ignore that.
- .Net is not included in Pinflux packaging because nearly all computers have .net today. If not, then it can be easily downloaded. Including .net in the app would make it bloated, and increase inconvenience for 98% of the people for maybe 2% who don't have .net yet.
- Yes, it has to use sessions because Pinflux is an advanced automation software for Pinterest. Many of the functions it has are not exposed by the API. It has to user automation to make all that possible.
Pinflux is used by thousands of people for their Pinterest automation. So far things have been pretty smooth for them. It does have a Proxy feature should you desire even more protection.
Thanks.
