Hi, I've been using ScreentoVideo happily since I purchased it. the past couple weeks, however, I've had to go back to my old recording because ScreenToVideo will not give me a preview of the recording anymore. I've restarted, reset, made sure the box is checked, but the only thing that comes up is the control box - no screen/recording preview. Can you help align me with how to fix this? Do I have to reinstall? For now I have to work with a worse quality recorder, however, it gives me the screen preview I need.
A: You can import your videos by using the “Import Video” option in the tools panel (top-left in the editor). Alternatively, you can open a video from the main window just as you would open a project. The editor will be initialized with your video in a few seconds.
No, my question is does this tool offer features like Camtasia or premiere pro to edit videos for example - transitions, color grading, noise removal ?
Q: Screenshots
Can this tool make just a screenshot without making a video? I am looking for a quick tool to make screenshots nad blur text, like Snagit can do.
A: You can take a screenshot while recording and save it directly to the internal "Images" tab (locally in the "C:\Users\User\Documents\ScreenToVideo\Images" folder). For more details, please have a look at the video below: https://screentovideo.com/media/features_screenshots.mp4 If you haven't already done so, we recommend downloading the app and testing all features in the trial version:...
Seems like this may be a viable product for my use case. Currently I use Loom to do short tutorial video for team/clients. I love the shareable link feature that Loom has so much so I was trying to find another screen recorder app that could replace Loom with the same shareable link feature. Tried other tools on AppSumo and found it took like 30 minutes to download a 10 minute recording in order to get the link…. That wasn’t going to cut it unfortunately.
First question is how long for a standard minimally edited 10 minute video take to download.
Second question, do you have a simple shareable link feature? I see there is some sort of shareable link feature through google drive? Is this any different than me creating a google document in a drive folder and grabbing their shareable link?
A: ScreenToVideo is a fully offline Windows application that runs on your computer. All your recordings, projects, and videos are exported and saved locally. You can upload them anywhere online after they are exported. In particular, you can upload your videos directly from our app to your Google Drive account. Please download the app and try it with our 15-day fully-featured free trial:...
Did Chatgpt just write your response? lol seems like it because both questions were not answered at all...... Hopefully this reply will merit a human response. My previous questions:
1. How long does it take for a typical minimally edited 10 minute video take to download? 2. Do you have a simple shareable link feature? Not including my personal/business google drive account to create the link
I know an App you are looking for I guess. It has no recording duration limitations, unlimited recordings, LTD, no monthly fee, instant local download (for webm format) or auto drive upload. You don't need to upload manually. It gets auto uploaded and you just share the link from the uploaded file. Kind of Loom alternative without monthly fees.
Q: do you plan to add mouse tracking?
to focus and zoom-in in mouse clicks
