I was looking for a simple, straightforward way to OCR a lot of the things I use every day, and this is the go-to tool for that. Also, I didn’t know we could scan QR codes. That’s awesome! Recommended.

Love this little app, super fast conver that screen text into something you can paste in moments. I jsut saw it can read things out which i have not tried but will have to. Bargain.

Installed it and set it up on two macs in no time and it already solved my use case (copying some text from an app that didn't allow copying). It worked perfectly. I also tested the "Import from Phone" feature and took a photo of a hand-written note which it also translated perfectly into text that I could paste from my clipboard. It also preserved all the line breaks, which can be very useful too, e.g. for lists.

Sometimes it's these little helper applications that are the most useful. At this price, this is practically a steal and I can recommend it without any doubt.

Practical, easy to use. I recommend it to anyone who owns a Mac. It comes in handy all of the time. I manage a social media agency so I move through tons of content; videos, PDFs, landing page, social media channels, and more. This makes grabbing what I need quick and easy. Impressive product!!
