What are past projects, failures, or successes you’ve had in your career?

We are serial builders at heart. We have worked at, and launched multiple brands and products across different markets over the years. We’ve experienced the full rollercoaster of entrepreneurship. We have seen the excitement of successful launches, but also the sting of projects that didn’t find product-market fit or scaled too fast. But we view those 'downs' as our most valuable assets. Those experiences taught us exactly what not to do. They taught us that building cool tech isn't enough. You have to solve a painful, specific problem for real people. Meet Oscar is the result of that learning curve. It wasn't a random idea. It was born directly from the operational chaos we faced in our previous ventures. We realized we were drowning in emails instead of building our businesses. We’ve poured every lesson, every win, and every past stumble into this product to ensure we are launching something that is not just 'cool,' but validated, robust, and genuinely useful.

What’s the origin of the idea for your product?

Necessity. Giovanni (Co-Founder) was drowning in inbox chaos running his previous business. He tried existing AI tools, but they failed because they lacked context, they didn't know his pricing, his contracts, or his specific rules. He built the first version of Meet Oscar to "clone" himself. It saved him so much time that we partnered with Lucas (Lead Developer) to rebuild it for everyone else.

What problem is your product solving and how?

Most professionals waste hours on "email ping-pong." Generic AI replies sound robotic and get facts wrong. Meet Oscar solves this with a Knowledge Foundation. You upload your PDFs, policy docs, and price lists; Oscar learns them and answers emails with high precision and your specific tone. It’s the difference between a text-generator and a true business assistant.

What’s the #1 thing you’re looking to gain from the AppSumo campaign?

Feedback. We know Sumo-lings are the smartest, most critical early adopters on the internet. We don't just want sales; we want to know what features you need to make this indispensable for your workflow.

What are your plans with the customers, cash, and learnings from the AppSumo campaign?

We are here for the long haul. The funds will go directly into expanding our development team to accelerate our roadmap (deeper CRM integrations, and more complex agentic workflows). We want to use the learnings from this campaign to shape Meet Oscar into the #1 email productivity tool on the market.

You can now connect multiple email inboxes to a single Meet Oscar account and manage them all in one place. This makes it easier to use Meet Oscar across different businesses, roles, or shared inboxes.

The number of inboxes you can connect depends on your AppSumo Tier.

This is a foundational update, and we’ll be building further improvements on top of it soon.

We’ve been listening closely to your feedback and requests over the last few weeks. Our goal is to make Meet Oscar the most seamless extension of your workflow, and today we’re rolling out three major updates designed to save you time and keep your communication professional.

Here is what’s new:

🖋️ 1. Professional HTML Signatures

The Update: You can now copy and paste your custom HTML signature directly into Meet Oscar.

The Result: Oscar will automatically include your branded signature in every email he drafts, ensuring a consistent and professional look.

🧠 2. Deep Context Tone Matching

Consistency is key to great relationships.

The Update: Oscar can now scan additional historical emails within a specific thread to mimic your exact tone of voice.

The Result: When a new email arrives from a long-term contact, Oscar looks at how you’ve spoken to them in the past and matches that style perfectly. It’s you, only faster.

⚡ 3. Beta Access: Important Auto-Drafts (Save Your Credits!)

We want you to wake up to an empty inbox.

The Update: We’ve launched a Beta feature that automatically writes replies to emails tagged as "Action required."

The Draft-Only Promise: Oscar won't send these automatically. They will be sitting there, ready for your review, when you log in.

Zero Credit Risk: You will not lose any credits for these auto-generated drafts. Credits are only deducted if and when you decide the email is perfect and hit "Send."

Smart Filtering: Oscar is smart enough to skip newsletters and junk, focusing only on the high-value conversations that actually need your attention.
