Q: Is it a standalone offline scorm or a scorm connector

When I export a SCORM package, does the ZIP contain all course assets and content, or does it load any content from Mini Course Generator servers?

If I cancel my Mini Course Generator subscription after exporting, will the SCORM package continue to function indefinitely in Moodle/Open edX?

Can the exported SCORM run on an isolated LMS without internet access?

Are videos, images, quizzes, and interactions embedded in the package or hosted externally?

A: Hi there! Great questions, here's a breakdown:

1) SCORM files are dynamic. When you export a SCORM package from Mini Course Generator, it loads content from our servers rather than bundling everything into the ZIP. The upside: you can edit your course in MCG anytime without re-exporting the SCORM file, changes reflect automatically.

2) Your course won't stop working if your subscription ends, but premium features (like AI Voiceover) will no longer function, and MCG branding will appear on the course page.

3) An internet connection is required. Since our SCORM files are dynamic and load content from our servers, they won't work on an isolated LMS without internet access.

4) Assets are hosted on our servers, not embedded in the SCORM package. Videos, images, quizzes, and interactions are all served from MCG.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

My user uses intranet if do you have a plan to implement the zip

I see the advantages of online SCORM as you mentioned, BUT there are several downsides + cases where we need OFFLINE SCORM (e. g. customer is not allowed to connect to external domains, or your serves fail or you go out of business after we have put months of work into the courses). Last year you said you'd put the offline SCORM on the roadmap, it would just take a while. That's why I got Tier 4.

@Onur: Sorry I do not want to sound rude, the system cut me of because the (customer) replies can only be very short on AppSumo: MiniCOurse Generator is great and I hope you stay in Business forever! It's just some of us need offline SCORM (for different reasons) and last year you said you'd add it. Any progress or an ETA? Thanks a lot for your effort and the new MCP connector!
