Minicoursegenerator – Powerful, Creative, and Worth It
I picked up Minicoursegenerator on AppSumo and it’s been brilliant so far. The UI is clean and easy to use, but the real standout is the AI Interaction Builder. With a single short prompt, it generated a fully interactive HTML trading candlestick chart that responds to mouse movement and teaches beginners the basics of a candle. That feature alone is impressive.
You still need to fine‑tune your courses to get them exactly right, but the AI gives you a strong starting point.
One downside: the PDF export is still a bit shaky, and the word wrapping isn’t great, so exported PDFs need manual cleanup, the course layout ist fine!
Overall, it’s a modern, creative tool for building engaging micro‑learning experiences.
Highly recommended, pick a higher Tier !

Functional but Incomplete White‑Label Fundamentals
The platform claims to be established since 2021 and does deliver working course creation and functioning CNAME, but several core features are still missing or incomplete. The fundamentals are not there, and the product does not meet the expectations set by its own claims.
Critical White‑Label Flaws:
No SMTP Control: SMTP is not implemented and not on the roadmap. The system is locked to only three email providers, and if you don’t use one of those three, emails are sent from the company’s own address instead of your domain, which breaks white‑labeling entirely.
Update 30.06:
After we explained that the WL feature set resembles full WL but is incomplete without SMTP, support replied with “Glad we’re aligned,” even though we explicitly stated we need SMTP and were not agreeing to go without it.
Acknowledging that SMTP was never promised is not the same as accepting its absence, and reframing our requirement as “alignment” is inaccurate.
Support also stated on 15.06 that “not many requested” SMTP, which is unusual given SMTP is a standard WL expectation and directly affects domain‑based email delivery.
Screenshot available.
Ignored Language Support:
Lithuanian has been requested since five months back with no timeline, no priority, and no clear answer. Even in the same chat thread, support asked “which language,” which shows they are not tracking requests at all.
Update 30.06:
They acknowledged Lithuanian on 22.01 and asked “Which language?” on 19.06 in the same chat window. Both messages existed, yet they publicly accused us of being inaccurate. Screenshots available.
Language support for Baltic markets and basic SMTP control are not “special features” — they are core elements expected from any WL platform. The requests we made are not unusual or custom; they are standard white‑label requirements.
Given the company is based in Estonia, lack of Baltic language support is especially hard to justify.
The Human Impact:
We offer our courses free for people affected by cancer, which makes the platform’s missing WL fundamentals even harder to justify.
Additional Product Limitations:
Short Content: Could be just our experience, but almost every time we create courses the generated length feels unusually short, as if the system is trimming content by default rather than producing full material.
Broken Certificate Logic: Certificates can only be issued when a course is placed inside a collection, and every course inside that collection must share one single price. This means if you have five paid courses and need certificates, you must create five separate collections with one course each just to enable certification.
Support & Operations:
Support replies quickly, but the replies avoid the actual issue and never provide a clear answer, timeline, or commitment. After months of follow‑ups, there is still no clarity on language support, no clarity on SMTP, and no concrete delivery dates for either.
Support repeatedly hides behind new added features instead of addressing the missing WL fundamentals.
Although the company is registered in Estonia, the operational behaviour, communication patterns, and handling of requests do not match what you would expect from a Baltic‑based SaaS. Buyers should be aware of this mismatch.
Final Verdict:
Overall, the platform is functional but incomplete. It is not beta, but it is also not at the maturity level expected from a product claiming to be established since 2021. Based on the current state of the platform and the missing core WL features, this is a 1‑taco experience.
We will update this review as the platform evolves.
In case we got some other parts wrong, correct us please.

Jun 30, 2026Hi bancan, thank you for using our platform and for sharing such a detailed review.
1) We do offer white-labeling for domain, course, and email. Email white-labeling currently works through one of our supported third-party providers. We understand that you'd prefer SMTP support so you can use your own provider, that's a fair point. We've noted this request and will evaluate adding it to our...

Focused Purpose, with Flexible Utility.
My first step into course creation, but in my opinion, creators are not locked into that. I'm currently using for various media profiles, but with a minor course / learning twist. Whole point being its set up for courses, but offers the flexibility of straight forward content presentation, something I've been seeking for a long time. The app is polished, its fast, these guys know what they're doing. The recent Connection integration within Claude is a game changer. Build your entire course content in Claude, then push it to MCG. Eats tokens, sure, but you could build 5 mini courses in Claude per day and still have enough credit for normal chats and yes that takes a bit of experimenting to figure out, but so what. Super solid app, flexible configuration, fairly priced. This one is 100% a keeper for me.

Jun 26, 2026Thank you so much for your feedback and for your time to share with the Sumolings.
It is great to hear that you are using MCG beyond traditional course creation, the flexibility for content presentation is something we've been working hard to support. And glad to see that the Claude MCP is fitting well into your workflow; we will keep improving it much further.
Happy to see you in the MCG...

Mini Course Generator is a Game Changer for Course Creators!
I've been using Mini Course Generator for a few now and I'm genuinely impressed with how much it has streamlined my content creation process. The AI-powered tools make it incredibly easy to build engaging, interactive mini courses in a fraction of the time it used to take me.
The interface is intuitive and clean — even if you're not super tech-savvy, you'll get the hang of it quickly. I especially love the ability to customize the look and feel of each course to match my brand. The output looks professional without requiring any design skills.
For the price point on AppSumo, this is an absolute steal. I've already created several courses and the response from my audience has been fantastic. If you're a coach, educator, or content creator looking to add mini courses to your offerings, this tool is a no-brainer. Highly recommend!

As a tool brilliance, as a product there is shortcomings
Just looking at the tool (or the technical aspects of the product) alone, I would give it a 5-star rating.
There are still some shortcomings with the product:
- There is no clear, holistic, and coherent onboarding guide. New users need to view many isolated videos to get a sense of how to do certain things. Perhaps a wiki-style with keyword search capability should be provided as a body of knowledge for the product.
- There is no explanation of the architecture of the product, e.g., what is a page and block and what can be included in a block, etc. Also there should be an explanation of what are the Actions an Activity that can be added to the content. If examples of how those assets can be used, it would be better.
