Q: MiniCourseGenerator vs OnlineCourseHost
Hey, me again, I forgot something. Could you tell me the differences between the MiniCourseGenerator and OnlineCourseHost? If I have one, can I do without the other? Or are we talking about two completely different things? Why is it called "MiniCourseGenerator"? How is it limited for a "bigger course?
I have a dog school, the focus is on the human's capability to lead their dog so that he can faithfully follow him. I'd like to shift the weight more and more to online work, since it's rather a human coaching than a dog training. But on the other hand I'd like to create courses about dog training, which a more practical, video explanation etc.
Sorry about the long text...
Best wishes

Thanks for the question but I do not know that product, sorry.
You can sign-up for free and check the UX of MCG - it'd better you compare yourself and see the differences.
Best wishes
@viomey: I almost missed this exactly becausee of "mini" and AI as main benefit - have a look at their free trial. It took me 120 seconds to copy/paste an existing outline, ignoring AI but taking the better title it created. Then 30 seconds per video to embed my existing video hosting for my 2 hour Microsoft Excel course — this is a "mini" course. You can add it to a "collection" (course bundle)
I skipped onlineCourseHost after testing it for 3 hours (was good but a few things didn't work for me) but MiniCourse Generator - I love everything except the name, got in at Tier 4. It all looks so clean, easy and should work perfectly for your training if you just want to add existing videos and content like I do. You can take payments or send passwords + have a free course to build a newsletter
Thank you very much! So "mini" doesn't mean "limitation"... Since you've tried the OnlineCourseHost, what is it that didn't work for you? The first thought is "I keep them both" but I don't have endless budget. I'd rather take one plan higher of the MCG. So you think concentrating just on MCG is enough?
@viomey: what didn't work for me with OLCH was wrong/bad translations in the enduser course I couldn't edit (all editable in MCG), and many legal requirements in my country that OLCH didn't meet - with MCG, I can sell with another system for the special laws of my country and then embed the MCG course. And everything seems easier in MCG to me - I'd definitely focus on just 1 system for courses.
to be 100 % clear: it's NOT that OLCH sales pages have a general problem, it's that my country has very special requierements for showing specific tax data before taking payment, showing other legal texts etc - and MCG just seems more flexible to me, so I can have the sales pages in another system and then embed MCG on my website for users who bougth the course.
