    I'm Imre, Co-Founder of motivac.io.

    On average, a person spends one third of his waking time at work. This is a lot of time, especially if the workplace is not a supportive and healthy environment. Soul killer. 🙅

    There will always be competitors who can pay more, but nowadays it's not just the salary that matters anymore, people desire recognition to belong to a real community where their values are recognized.

    ⏰ Our story:

    With CodeYard (the developer agency behind motivac.io), we provide software development to mostly startup companies and we would like an internal tool with which we can give each other positive feedback, motivate and recognize each other, so that we can also build our company culture.

    Most systems were based on performance and skills, impersonal, we lacked the human side, so we started to build our own.

    The team continued to grow, the number of employees doubled and tripled, but everyone loved the system, the new team members quickly got used to it, also helpful for the integration that they saw what kind of feedback and company culture we have.

    We came up with the idea: is it possible that there are more company like ours in the world?

    We realized that what we have always been waiting for, a startup idea, is not software but the way of thinking, the way our team was forged, how we function as a team.

    We need to transfer this way of thinking and ideology into a software and to help others achieve this.
