I just received this message from the team behind MyClone:
"Hi Sumo-lings,
After careful consideration, we've decided to close our AppSumo lifetime deal and proactively refund all customers.
Why
When we launched on AppSumo, our expectation was to raise additional funding and scale the company in a way that would support this as a long-term product.
While we initially made strong progress, we are not in a position today where we can confidently guarantee multi-year support for a lifetime deal.
Rather than risk disruption down the line, we believe the responsible decision is to refund everyone now.
What this means
* MyClone will remain fully operational through March 13
* If you need additional time to export your data, we're happy to accommodate
* Please visit your AppSumo account to request your refund. If you need assistance with that process, AppSumo's support team is available to help
We’re doing our best to figure out next steps for MyClone, but we did not feel it was sustainable to maintain lifetime access under current circumstances.
Many of you supported us early and provided thoughtful feedback. We're genuinely grateful for that.

From day one, we believed a lifetime deal should mean meaningful, long-term support — measured in years, not months. The moment we realized we couldn’t confidently stand behind that commitment, we felt it was better to make the hard decision early rather than risk disruption down the road.
This wasn’t easy. But if there was even a chance we couldn’t deliver on what “lifetime” implies, returning everyone’s money felt like the most responsible path.
We’re deeply grateful for the support and thoughtful feedback from this community. It shaped the product in ways that will stay with us.
