Great idea, average execution
I strogly believe that this type of approach to personal knowledge will be mainstream in a couple of years, Apple Intelligence will do just that and this says a lot, setting the path for MyMemo for great success. The execution of the app is still far from usable, very clunky, it freezes all the time, unable to support large quantities of memos at the moment. The webapp is more mature but still lacks a lot of control and responsiveness, I hate when the AI shows part of the "thinking process" when chatting and is way slower than the actual ChatGPT itself.
Many features are missing like:
- batch memo import
- control over memocast
- connections between memos or the ability to configure collections inside other collections
I will be using MyMemo intensively in the future hoping to see more improvements on the UI and more features added.
Good luck to the devopers.

largely very good
Very good application hits many sweet spots. the mobile app is super convenient and excellent at grabbing whatever item you need to save or remind yourself of. the ai summaries are wonderful when they work. The memo cast is maybe my favorite feature. this service is great for students or others who have a chaotic life. the negative for me is a few times the items I upload dont have summaries generated and I have no idea why. is it I am over my quota? how would I know? Overall a must have though.

Nov 17, 2024Thank you so much for your feedback!I’m sorry to hear about the occasional issues with summaries not generating. This might not be related to your quota, but rather a rare glitch in processing. We’ve recently added 'retry summarization' feature that allow for manual summarization, so you have control when the AI doesn't deliver. If you still cant get the summary, please send the screenshot and the...

It still has a long way to go, but it's worth betting on MyMemo.
I like knowledge management and I value apps that offer to be a tool for this purpose. MyMemo still seems like a beta, but its promise is interesting and it seems like it will be valuable. The Chrome extension is useful. I miss that they have removed the option for a "Daily Note," as I've seen in some reviews on YouTube.
I want to share something funny; I put the link to this app in MyMemo and the summary it gives me of user opinions is quite honest. The summary is in Spanish, which is my native language. You can see it at: https://app.mymemo.ai/public/detail/0/1855128682201350144

It's quite great and worth the price
What I Love:
The cost for YouTube summarization services on the market is typically quite high, making this option remarkably affordable. I processed around 200 YouTube clips in the first two days, providing a wealth of concise, easy-to-read content (especially helpful as I have difficulty with listening and prefer reading).
The answers to questions derived from the content library are accurate and include references to their sources. This feature builds a strong sense of trust and confidence in the responses.
The web link processing feature performs reliably as well. I tested it with about 100 links, which were processed effectively, greatly aiding my research.
The eBook and document processing functions work smoothly, which I appreciate.
Areas for Improvement:
There is a limitation on the number of content items per batch—64 YouTube links can be added at once, with a pause required before uploading more. While I understand the high processing costs, it would be beneficial to allow for a queue or delayed processing to avoid the inconvenience of returning every few hours to add more content.
Another limitation is the 100-page cap per document. Most eBooks exceed this length, and although a file size limit of 10-20 MB per document is reasonable, the 100-page restriction can be frustrating. Splitting a 200-300-page book into multiple sections could disrupt the context between parts.
I would also appreciate a feature for crawling links up to 1-2 levels deep or adding links dynamically. This could prevent context shifts among related links and save time versus adding each page manually, especially when working with multi-page documents.
A chat feature within memo groups would be incredibly useful. With hundreds of memos, some contain ideas that may conflict with each other. I'd prefer to communicate with a specific memo or group instead of inputting all data and receiving generalized responses.
In summary, Memo Cast is a fantastic tool. I only wish I had more control over what to cast and could manage timing and casting methods more flexibly.
-- My english is so bad that I have ChatGPT to re-write the review in better form for me :D --
p/s: By the limitation, I find it's good-for-nothing if I'd add more code in. But before and after this, I always hope to go to plan 3 codes as I really like this tool :)

Basically a great tool but the navigation is crap
MyMemo works fine and fast.
Thanks for the new feature to add notes, that's really helpful. It would be nice to have a rich text editor and not just plain text.
Cons: The navigating through your collections is a tedious game of patience. In the list, card and timeline view you can only see a few elements at a time, then you have to click on “Load More Memo”. Why? Why doesn't it load without clicking on a button? This is called “Infinite Scroll”. But that's not all. If you click on an element for the detailed view and click on the back arrow, you are back at the beginning of the list/card/timeline view and the game starts all over again, what a crap. There is not even the possibility to open an element in a new tab or window. That definitely deserves 1 taco deduction.
@Richard_mymemo, since I can't reply to your answer, I do it here:
NOW it is working for cards/timeline, but it did not, when I wrote this review. And how is your answer to infinite scroll and rich text editor?
