Q: transferring the license

Hello,

If I purchase Tier 1, will I be able to transfer the license to a new PC if I change my computer in the future?
Additionally, could you please explain the process of transferring the license to a new PC?

Thank you!

A: Hi! Thanks for your question. 🙌 Yes, on the Personal (Tier 1) plan you can log in to NativeRest (desktop app) on another PC after you log out of the first PC. ✨

Q: Oauth2 Support & cloud workspaces

Hi! Is oauth2 supported for auth?

Also, for cloud workspaces - is there some forms of access control? For sharing with specific teammates or using cloud workspaces simply for personal/private but wanting it backed up and syncing between devices.

Also, importing a REST api from an insomnia export json file doesn’t seem to be working (Mac). After selecting the json export file no requests are listed ‘List is empty’. The file is valid and meant to be compatible, can be imported into insomnia (I believe I tested importing it into postman too).

A: Hi! 👋

Thanks for using NativeRest. OAuth 2 is not yet supported in NativeRest.

Please install the new version of NativeRest 2.2.0 that was released yesterday. It added support for Team workspaces, and improved file import. Cloud workspaces are your personal workspaces with a cloud copy, while Team workspaces are also cloud-based, plus they're available to your entire team.

Q: test all types of api?

is it possible to test any type of APIs? for example

HTTP/HTTPS
REST
SOAP
GraphQL
gRPC
WebSockets
AMQP
MQTT
XMPP
JSON-RPC
XML-RPC

We would like to use a sandbox environment to test our very own created APIs and test application APIs to confirm they work properly before production

A: Hi! 👋

🔹 Postman is heavily dependent on a network connection, which not all users like. NativeRest is a standalone program for PCs that will not ask you to transfer your requests to the cloud.

🔹 Postman is based on Electron and consumes a lot of PC resources. NativeRest uses 100 times less memory (this is not a joke), has a more responsive UI, and can accept larger JSON responses. Users...
