I’ve found this tool to be exceptionally useful and it’s performing admirably on my Windows laptop. A significant advantage is its ability to check API requests locally, which is a major relief regarding data security. Knowing that sensitive information isn’t being transmitted to the cloud, unlike with some alternatives like Postman, provides a considerable level of confidence and peace of mind. The tool’s functionality has streamlined my API testing workflow considerably.

This piece of software should be promoted more. It includes all necessary features to test APIs. Especially, to create own variables is a time-saver.

What a fantastic product! NativeRest is the Postman alternative I've been looking for. So far it has worked well on both Windows and macOS. Workspaces and variables are done brilliantly, and functions like automatic uuid generation are so smart. You can tell the developer has worked with APIs before and found a way to make essential features lightweight and straightforward.

Only caveat I encountered has been synchronization between devices if your workspace is stored in cloud or team cloud. It works, but it isn't always the fastest. It would be nice with a synchronization status indicating whether you are working with the latest workspace data or not, but this is nitpicking really.

Would recommend for anyone using API clients.

NativeRest has been a core part of my development process. It has a clean interface and runs fast. The developer is very responsive and has even added some of the features I requested. One feature I particularly love is saving workspace variables from responses. So I can hit send on my Login request and have the token saved automatically then use that token in other requests. If you're a developer, you'll definitely want to get this app!

I don't usually write reviews, because most of the deals I buy because of FOMO just collecting dust. But this software is really useful. It is quick and easy to use.

New features are added weekly, bugs are fixed quickly. The developer is very friendly and takes the work seriously. In other products, when I request a feature the usual answer is that they will add to the roadmap, and maybe months later they will do it. Here, the feature was added within days.

I feel the AI option was included just to tick the box that there is AI in the software. I mean it works, but there are more useful AI deals in AppSumo. It's a nice gimmick, but I don't really use that feature.

The primary goal of the software is API testing. For that it is great. There is a templating language included which makes generating random IDs and test values very easy. It also has a Test function where it can verify predefined conditions. This part have more potential, and I'm sure we will see more developments in this category by the time.

If anybody looks for a simple Postman alternative, without predatory subscriptions and artificial limitations, then this is it. Very good AppSumo deal.
