Q: Questions for you:

1. Can we generate slides based off uploaded word or pdf docs that the AI can analyze?
2. In your demo video I just see being able to create the structure on a simple prompt like build be a strategy plan, but can I create based on clear markdown/text that outlines the content I want on each page or not?
3. In the demo I saw couple of errors where title or text is overlaping or not correctly aligned can this be fixed or can we manually edit on the slide deck after its been generated?

A: Yes to all three.

1- Uploaded Word/PDF docs: Yes. You can upload source files like Word docs, PDFs, PowerPoints, and images. NextDocs extracts and analyzes the content, then uses it to generate a presentation or document.

2- Clear markdown/text outlines: Yes. You don’t have to rely on a vague prompt. You can provide a detailed outline, markdown, or page-by-page structure, and the AI will use that as the source direction. For example, you can say what each slide/page should cover, what tone to use, and what content to include.

3- Fixing layout issues / manual editing: Yes. NextDocs is built with a canvas-style editor, so after generation you can manually edit text, move elements, resize objects, adjust layouts, and refine the deck. The AI also reviews and improves outputs, but if anything still needs adjustment, you are not locked into the generated result.
