It makes me sad. I was so excited. But I give up.
I was so excited about this product initially. It was an ambitious project, attractive pricing, and mountains of promises.
But It's 5 months later, and this is still totally unusable.
I bought the AppSumo Tier 3 deal back in September with REALLY high hopes for NinjaPipe. But after all this time, I cannot even begin to use this as a CRM.
Here are the two biggest problems.
Contacts:
There is still no contact syncing with Google. This means maintaining two separate contact databases. Immediate non-starter. Even organizing contacts within Ninjapipe is a slow process. Moving people into groups is a one by one process.
Nothing is connected...or finished:
Pipelines, Deals, Products, Quotes, Invoices...they're all disconnected.
> Deals should be in pipelines.
> You should be able to add quotes to a deal in a pipeline.
> You should be able to see what deals a company is associated with.
> You should be able to send emails from deals and pipelines.
I am certain that the small team at NinjaPipe is working really hard on this, but it is so far away from usable or competitive at this point that I have to admit I'm really disappointed.
As someone with ADHD, I understand trying to do too much at once. Right now, Ninjapipe is trying to do a lot of things, and nothing is finished.
😫 We don't need projects
😫 We don't need a client portal
😫 We don't need chat
😫 We don't need marketing forms and data bins
We need Pipelines with Deals, Emails with contacts, and a system we can use to manage relationships and sales. I abandoned Pipedrive on the potential of Ninjapipe. Now I'm back to using Notion, and even that is helping me manage better at this moment.
At best, this is a **nice looking** set of different disconnected, incomplete tools. For this to become a CRM, it must help us manage our customer or client relationships.
So, for now, I give up.

Feb 19, 2025Hi, it's difficult to cater to all the requests at once as you may have noticed we are trying hard to get everyone's features delivered, which takes time. We are actively now working on improving the overall speed and getting rid of bugs and ironing things out before we venture to new features. Our team is small and the time estimates are tight.
As with any small team, our primary challenge is making everyone happy + doing that fast. Referring to the original post: it says "we don't need client portals" but right below this post in the forum, there's a thread for portals and there's a bunch of users with feature requests for portals. So it's not a case of serving one user group, but making the CRM accessible for many businesses. Therefore it's a time game for us in this game, where the CRM matures over time to serve these use cases.
I request patience and nothing more as our 4-developer team gets these out 🙂
I do understand the need to have all of these right now. Which is why we are working day and night. However we have a capacity constraint too, as we are not raising a large amount of capital to move faster (hopefully sometime soon, not yet). So yes, we'll continue working on these and getting them out as we have been. I do kindly request some patience with our small team 🙏
