Still observing
Look promising but still need observation. I like the simplicity but it is still lacking features and the performance feel slow. It might looks like a good deal for this price but if you don't feel comfortable using it, it is still a waste of money.
Good things:
1. client portal with unlimited clients
2. simple UI and easy to navigation
3. mobile app???? <- both good and bad
What I want to see:
1. improve performance. The data load feel slow. Looks like they are using some primitive data fetching / pooling.
2. Need more API. API is now so primitive. It is better than nothing, but still doesn't meet the minimum requirement so it feels nothing.
3. no killer features. This app just feel like a database and a UI, expose some APIs, doing some basic CRUD stuff. Something like stripe integration and document signing will be useful.
4. not CName (yet) so you use their domain, which is not production ready yet in my opinion. I heard it is coming in early October but who knows.
5. the teams need clear focus if they don't have a big team. Developing web and mobile app at the same time might be challenging. If you don't have a big team, I would rather simply forget about the mobile and focus on web.
What I think it will be cool:
Maybe the Ninjapipe team can manage the Ninjapipe platform using Ninjapipe. If Ninjapipe has tasks, client portal and everything, what not just add us all as client and you manage tickets, projects, docs, payment all in Ninjapipe? I think in this way, you can truly understand the paintpoints and needs of the project.
