🤔 It is controversial to me that there is a functionally similar Boardmix. 🤔 The company may eliminate or merge one of these applications in the future. . I wonder what Appsumo thinks about this❓
It's like Microsoft took Word and created new products taking 50% of the functionality from the existing solution. 🤔 In my opinion this solution shouldn't be 50% of the functionality of Boardmix, it should be either independent functionality or just 1 product (Pixso+Boardmix)
The fact that they did not reply this message is a good indicator that they might consider launching next year another one to cash in more money...crazy. The company behind this is Wondershare. They claim they are independent, but everything sounds crazy, because they also sell a product like the other two, so 3 products out of one. I call that a big fat cashcow no?
Q: Are you ever going to offer .fig export?
This is essential. I will not be able to keep this software if Figma export is not available.
Q: I have a question about pixso's import function.
I can back up Pixso whiteboards to Boardmix format, but I was unable to import boardmix format files into Pixso. Are there any plans to be able to import boardmix whiteboard files in the future?
A: I am deeply appreciative of your attention towards our product. Please be aware that Pixso and Boardmix are separate products, each with its own unique functions. Pixso Whiteboard is a tool seamlessly integrated within the Pixso ecosystem. It serves as a collaborative tool for creating product workflows and merging production with research efforts. This functionality greatly benefits product managers, enabling them to perform various tasks within Pixso, such as crafting detailed product solutions using the Whiteboard tool and creating prototypes. The flexibility of Pixso Whiteboard effectively meets a broad range of needs throughout the product development process.
That's not what I meant. What I meant was that the usage scenarios of the two are quite different. Pixso provides two capabilities: design files and whiteboard files. It focuses on serving product design teams and covers the entire product design and development process from creative inspiration to code delivery.
but it does sound like you are the same owners? Why not just add the functionality to Boardmix to make it a powerhouse on all fronts instead of having to purchase another software or for team maintain updates of two different software platforms?
I agree with this. How can the usage scenarios be different? I get that Pixso is focused on UX, but the 'Pixso whiteboard' product is literally just a whiteboard and almost an exact replica of Boardmix. I just tested both and the whiteboard functionality, layout, features, are the same between Pixso whiteboard and Boardmix. So yeah, this comes across in poor taste.
I hope Appsumo customer support is reading our comments and concerns. This scenario is something I haven't seen here in my four plus years. It is a huge concern because I have to wonder about the viability of their finances going forward since all they did was rename Boardmix to garner more cash or fund raise.
In simple terms, Pixso is equivalent to Figma design + Figjam, and Boardmix is equivalent to Miro. If your use case involves cooperation between products, designers, and developers, then you might want to choose Pixso. However, if you only need to manage projects, brainstorm, take notes, draw flow charts/mind maps/PPTs, collect inspirations, or showcase ideas, then you might want to choose Boardmi
It would be useful to have the functionality to at least file transfer between these two solutions. 🤔 Why don't you add this functionality to Pixso, Boardmix❓
Releasing two products with very similar functionalities instead of enhancing a product many of us already purchased doesn't help on trust. I already found that Boardmix was a child company of Wondershare (Contacted them at the time) and you confirmed this too on my Boardmix question. https://appsumo.com/products/boardmix/questions/hi-there-i-understand-that-you-work-for-948175/
The tool is fantastic but i did encounter some Chinese in certain parts of the tool (I am an English speaker). I can't remember exactly where i saw this, but please do a deep check/audit and do the necessary transcriptions. Keep up the great work!
Is it possible to share a WhiteBoard link to a client, and the client can leave comments on the whiteboard without having to sign up / log in ? If not, would this be a feature that you would consider implementing ?
On another note. Since this looks like a figma clone, how do you plan to stay in business in the long run?
I would like to be able to choose my own language model, e.g. GPT-4o, Claude 3.5, Gemini, LLaMA, Mistral …
Q: Can you design with CSS Grid and Flexbox?
Some similar tools allow you to design using CSS Flexbox and CSS Grid. In other words, you put element onto the canvas and give it a property (in the properties panel) The items on the canvas then behave the same as CSS Grid / CSS Flexbox does on a website. The CSS / HTML code for the flex and grid items can then be copied into a HTML document or stylesheet.
I would also like the clients I share the project with to be able to comment
Q: Please let me know if I'm not wrong to think this.
Apparently this is pretty similar to Boardmix, so it looks to me that there is a strategy to build the product, then sell it lifetime, then improve it on another name and sell a lifetime while the first one won't receive these functionalities because you already made money on it.
Cause there is no way that at some point the team decided to make different products that benefit from the same architecture and decided it was ok instead of simply improving the first one and making it even better.
🤔 Yes, there is a danger in this. ▶️ https://appsumo.com/products/pixso/questions/is-this-the-same-company-as-boardmix-1223257/
Q: What does 3 editors mean?
I purchased a Tier 1. Wanted to understand what 3 editors means. Does it mean i can have 3 users invited to the account and they can edit the files and use dev mode etc? Are there any limitations for these 3 editors?
Why don't you clearly say if it is possible to export to html and css instead of saying to try the heron handoff plugin? I tried to explain the problem to you several times and even sent an email attaching screens to support@pixso.net as you requested but I received no response. As I had pointed out, the html export file that the plugin provides is loaded into the heron handoff environment where you can view the elements but it is not functional for export purposes. Can you clarify this point. thankyou
A: Only AI functions require AI credits. All modules you see when you click the AI function button at the top require AI credits. Other editor functions do not require AI credits. In addition, the recharge plan for AI credits has been fed back to the product manager. We will consider launching a recharge plan for AI credits in the future, but it will take time.
Why would that take time? Not trying to be facetious, but that seems like a very low latency alteration; certainly open to being educated otherwise, though.
At present, the focus of the product is mainly on the experience optimization of product functions, and the addition of AI recharge plan is also considered. However, the launch of any function or purchase plan takes time, including evaluating needs, discussing solutions, development, testing and verification, etc. Please understand, thank you
Wow! I'm glad the question was asked because I thought the ai credits were monthly like every deal on appsumo. That's a show stopper for me. Hey Pixso, you have 4 days to turn it into a monthly credit.
Q: Again on Appsumo
Are Yiu Coming on Appsumo Again?

Q: Hi, this deal shows it's ending in a month, but unavailable.
Is there anyway to buy a code? The deal page says it's ending in 30 days, but unavailable. I really wanted to buy this one.

Q: Understanding the differences with Boardmix
Hi there, I already purchased Boardmix which I understand is also a product of yourse. How does Pixso differs from Boardmix, which of both is better?
Does Pixso offers any funcionalities not included in Boardmix?
Are you going to launch a third product in the future instead of enhancing the existing ones you have? Thank you.

Hello,
I look forward to your response regarding the import feature.
I am using both Pixso and BoardMix. I believe it would be more convenient if they could be integrated.

Thank you for your reply.
I will go ahead and use Pixso for design and Boardmix for the whiteboard.
When do you plan on supporting Boardmix files❓
🤔
Does that seem necessary.👍
