Needless to say, if you buy a lot of deals, getting 10% off each time is great. :)

The bonuses you get are OK but SendFox is not greatly useful given that your access disappears if you ever stop being a Plus member, and I didn't want to be locked in to using it in that situation, so I didn't bother redeeming it.

The quarterly $25 coupons are a great idea but it's frustrating that it's so easy to lose their benefit. Coupons are valid only for 30 days, not the whole quarter. If you buy using a coupon and then refund the deal, you don't get the coupon back. If you buy with a coupon (or even just the base 10% Plus discount), you lose these benefits if you then upgrade your tier: you pay the full upgrade price including any amount you saved on your initial purchase. This effectively negates all the discounts you had.

So a lot of the benefits looks good on paper but in reality are easily lost. The result is that I sometimes don't use my coupons at all, I avoid upgrading my purchases, and I tend to purchase less because if I can't afford a higher tier at the time when a deal is on (meaning I'd probably be looking to upgrade later), I may not buy it at all.

Yes, I know I'm complaining about getting free stuff. It's frustrating that these Plus perks are *almost* fantastic but are very much nerfed by the tier upgrade system.

So, I'd suggest that this is great value if you're able to buy big enough up-front and never upgrade your purchases (which I guess is the behaviour that AppSumo want to reward, after all).
