They do everything to force me to spend money on their offers. Sometimes this is annoying to me as I consider this as too much and not authentic human but just a good marketing strategy, but as I jumped on that train i have to say that they do this very well. The service is ok and if you want to spend your money on products you did not know they might exist some hours before, then it is a good choice as you get vouchers worth the amount spent over a year. If you just want to buy one offer or two, I would not spend that money for plus. But to conclude - Appsumo is very responsive with customer support and the processes work well i found some pretty amazing small developer products here that help me with my work and to spare some bugs on the long run is a good outcome!
