There's a lot to love about Appsumo plus. Each year I get great value as I purchase between $10,000-$20,000 of software per year. With that said, it could be better.

Silly little things that are not well-thought-out. Like the recent Taco promotion. It's benefit only lasts for 24 hours. To take advantage you have to be aware and available at that time. More importantly there has to be something that you actually need and can use.

In my case I buy a lot of software. The event happened, I was aware and I was available to buy. However there was nothing on the entire site that I needed or wanted.

What I do guarantee is something will show up tomorrow or a week from now, and I'll feel like I've been ripped off. I won't be able to get the discount for an item I want and need.

In my opinion all specials should run the duration of your membership. Use it once, anytime and it's gone.

I look at new arrivals on a daily basis. There have been times where nothing caught my attention or fit my needs for two or three weeks.

What I will close with, if you think you'll spend $1,000 on the site in a year it's worth the cost of membership. However these spot benefits can work, but more often than not they can leave plus members feeling frustrated.
