Product not as described
The only reason I purchased plus was because I was buying $1700 worth of products and wanted the 10% discount. However after my very first product activation, I needed to contact support because the founder was not delivering what the product page described. It's been almost 3 weeks and the issue is still not resolved despite even contacting the CEO. When he reminded them to do something, they simply resent their original email to the founder which in itself showed an inability to understand the issue and what the founder was doing wrong. I call this "enabling" behaviour. They literally enable product founders to misrepresent deal inclusions and when somebody such as myself puts the case to them CLEARLY and with all necessary evidence, they still don't do what they should and insist on the founder editing the deal page. There is no follow-up unless I follow-up. Given that I am supposed to be getting "VIP Support' with Plus, Appsumo even misrepresent their own product.
Other products that I purchased as part of that $1700+ purchase turned out to be half-baked and poorly thought out. For two of them, the founders/customer support can't even be contacted to respond to bugs and so on and so I have had to refund. Ultimately then, I will probably end up refunding all but one of the purchases I made and therefore not benefit from Plus.
As others have said, providing a $25 coupon which expires very quickly is not customer friendly, and worse still, the fact that if you choose to refund a product because it's yet another of those half-baked, poor service and buggy products on here, you lose that coupon altogether - seriously, even online shopping apps reinstate coupons for refunded products in my part of the world!
I know in replies team members preach about the other software inclusions and their dreamed-up value! However, they fail to realize, that value is only manifest (a) if you really want/need that product [I don't find any of them useful or attractive] (b) if the value attributed is accurate.
In summary then, for me, given that Plus fails to deliver in terms of customer service promises and vouchers have so many terms tied to them, the ONLY reason to get Plus is if you are purchasing $1100 or more at the same time and are absolutely certain that you won't be refunding. In this case, buying plus will save you $11! Just make sure you switch off auto-renew!!

Regarding the $25 coupons, we extended the expiration date from 30 days to 45 days recently based on feedback like yours! And unfortunately all AppSumo coupons are non-refundable per our terms.
