Purchase protection: really?
I received an email from a product purchased on Appsumo, stating that my account would be deleted and my data wiped unless I login before the next day. The reason: 3 months of inactivity.
Appsumo's response when I contacted them: their "protection" cannot extend against their partners' terms and conditions, which apparently can include anything. But hey, I shall not worry: Appsumo' support team made sure "my feelings will be shared with the correct team on their end".

For reference, our Purchase Protection Policy covers tool closures within one year of purchase, but it does not associate with the unique guidelines and terms from individual Partners. AppSumo does not set the Terms of Service for third-party vendors, so we would not be able to address your concern with your specific tool account being deactivated due to inactivity. However, should you experience a product closure within 1 year of purchase, we are happy though to reimburse Plus members.
