In the conversation with Sawwa, we NEVER mentioned that BYOK was on the roadmap.
What we mentioned was allowing to bring in keys for AI models we do NOT support - in your case you wanted to use DeepSeek which we do not have inside Poppy AI - it's a feature we have not implemented yet, since it did not have a high...

And to be clear, all I wanted was to receive the BYOK and API that was promised to me as an early supporter. I recently emailed Poppy to say who I was from here, but I never received a response. Simply providing this to me would have made me quit asking about it, and I could have shared my thoughts about my experience with the tool instead, and it could have been a good referral for you guys.

Yeah if Sawwa responded and said there was no using my chat gpt api key then I would have refunded because it's just simply not doable with how much Poppy consumes credits

It can watch IG reels and Tiktok videos just by pasting their link. It CANNOT watch youtube videos if you paste the list, but it can watch any MP4 video, so if you want it to watch a youtube video, you first download that yt video and then upload it as mp4

I mean, its certainly nice to have this option, but making it mandatory is a big no-go. If I do get this wrong, sorry, and please point me to how to use it without being forced...

No, the onboarding call is neither necessary nor mandatory. You can use the platform without it. I would still recommend it, though, because you can simply tell them during the call that you don't need an introduction. That's what I did as well—I just noted down a few questions beforehand, and the call didn't take long. In return, you receive an extra 1,000 credits per month for the next five mo
In the video the guy says "once you do that, you'll get access to the software. So as soon as you're done booking the call, which will take you like a minute, you'll get access to the software." And I see no button whatsoever to skip.
I don't think you should request a refund for that reason. It's really a good tool, and the support team is very helpful and responsive through the chat as well.
You could also go ahead and Schedule the Call (for a date that's at least a few days into the future)... Then you'll get access to the Platform to start playing around with it... Then, you can always cancel the booking and reschedule for when you really want it... By this time, you're into the platform, playing around with it, and deciding if you want to keep the appointment or not. Just an Option
Thats a useful idea - didnt think it would work this way as the guy said schedule AND show up before unlock. Anyway, kind of a stupid workaround just to use a tool Ive paid for. Having users jump through hoops before accessing what they paid for - does not vibe with me at all.
