Q: Do You Have BYOK? If Not the Top Plan Costs 5 cents per message or credit - Very Expensive! Thoughts?
Hi, I am a bit interested in your product. I already have Snoooz AI which was on appsumo, which is a very good platform and bought their highest plan. However, your product also seems interesting, but my main concern is you haven't stated anywhere if you have BYOK. I
f you don't have BYOK, then that's a big issue, because on your highest plan, you seem to indicate each additional credit is 0.05 cents. If each credit is an email, that's extremely expensive.
I want to see if you can persuade me otherwise?
Thank you.

Jul 1, 2026A: Hi, and thanks for the honest question — let me take both parts head-on.
On BYOK: PREDIMAIL doesn't offer BYOK, and that's a deliberate design choice rather than a missing feature. BYOK exists because most AI email tools are thin wrappers over a public API (OpenAI, etc.), so they let you plug in your own key to avoid their markup. PREDIMAIL uses its other models hosted in Europe instead — there's no external key to bring, because the model layer is part of the product rather than a third-party API you pay for separately. Different trade-off: less model choice than a BYOK tool, but a simpler setup and pricing that isn't tied to someone else's per-call API rates.
On cost: you've read the top-up rate right, and you're also right that paying per credit for your whole volume would be expensive — but that rate is meant for occasional overflow, not for running your day-to-day traffic. The real value is in the included allowance: the plans come with a large monthly credit pool plus a big one-time pool, and for heavier use (beyond 5 mailboxes) we offer unlimited plans so your cost stops scaling with volume entirely.
One bit of transparency so there's no surprise later: a single email typically uses a couple of credits (it covers the full classify + route + draft cycle, not just one call), so the plan allowances are sized with that in mind.
I'll be straight with you: you're currently on a top-tier plan elsewhere with 25 mailboxes and unlimited usage, and that's above our publicly listed tiers — so I'm not going to pretend a $69 plan beats what you already have. What I can do is size the right PREDIMAIL plan (including our unlimited option) against your actual setup. If you tell me roughly how many mailboxes and how many emails/month you're running, I'll come back with real numbers rather than a sales pitch.
