ProductScope AI

Product details

Q: Hi Vijay I really liked the product listing thing and tried it.

It appeared to give amazing results but i have not checked them practically. I hope that they also would give amazing results.

My questions are:
1) I currently have my listing on amazon UK. So it asked me to first run chrome extension so that it captures the data and then i went to product scope AI page, all the listing information is there which i can tweak using "Rewrite for me". So the question is is this tool only applicable to already created listing and only to be used to rewrite to make it better?

2) In case it is applicable to new listing, then how can we use it to our newly created listing on amazon. I think, we may need to give a competitor listing for reference in that case and then use the revised competitor listing to copy to our listing page. Please confirm?

3) What can we do if the product is totally new and there is no competitor. Then will there be any use case. I think so by mentioning the product features, keywords and buyer motivations, it will auto populate the things. Is it so?

4) I am not that technical so kindly educate me on Subject Matter Fields and Back end search terms. What are they, importance and their usage on amazon listing

A: Hi Zayan,
Thanks for your question!
1 & 2) The Amazon listing optimizer (which is added in for free into Tier 3) can be used for creating BOTH existing listings as well as new listings. For new listings, exactly how you described you first find the best selling competitor in the market and in the tool you just update your specific brand name and features and then use the tool to rewrite every aspect of that listing and go from there!

3) Almost every product will have competition and we haven't seen something that has never been sold before hit the Amazon marketplace (especially when you go global and can find competition in other marketplaces etc). If there truly is such a use case - then you can actually use "Ask Dobby" the chatbot to build you an optimized listing as it has access to the same datasets that the Amazon listing optimizer has and its best practises and you can have it create your products title/bullets and description just by chatting with it.

4) this is a good blog post explaining those keywords: https://www.sellerapp.com/help/article/subject-matter-amazon-listing-optimization/

Hope that helps!
Cheers,
Jacob
