It does what i want it to do, refines my voice note rambles into actual prompts.
Two improvement suggestions:
- It bothers me to no end that all the prompts come back saying "you" (i.e talking to me) vs "I" (first person). I am the one prompting so could this please get addressed.
- One should be able to give feedback on a specific prompt and have V2 to perfect it.

Never been able to activate, and told me no refund!

After purchasing the product, I activated the Appsumo code, but something must have gone wrong. The profile created on the website https://www.promptengine.cc/ was not activated with the paid version, but only with the free version (limited to a few prompts). I sent several emails to APPSUMO and to the program's support email address of Prompt Engine. After a few days, APPSUMO replied and told me that the activation had to be done by the Prompt Engine company, and that they would contact them to resolve the issue (the same company was also the recipient of the emails I sent to APPSUMO, so they must have already been aware of the problem, but they never contacted me). After several replies from APPSUMO asking for my authorization to provide my data to the Prompt Engine company, there was no further response. I sent several more reminder emails to both, but there was complete silence. Moreover, the free version often crashes. I don't know if this is because it is the free version (but it shouldn't be the case even with this version).

I tried a few of the free prompts inside PromptEngine — there aren’t many, but they were enough to show that the product could be genuinely useful. That’s why I decided to buy a full-access code on AppSumo.

Unfortunately, everything fell apart at the redemption stage.

After purchasing, the code either produced an error saying it was already used, or it was “accepted” but nothing changed in my account. No upgrade, no new features, no subscription applied. I bought multiple codes, tried different login flows, and repeated the process several times. The result was always the same: I paid, but never received access.

The partner’s support never replied.
AppSumo support was polite, but the situation never progressed beyond “we’ve escalated this to the partner,” and nothing was resolved. The product feels abandoned, and the redemption system seems completely broken.

At this point I still haven’t been able to use the product at all. I haven’t received a refund yet, but I’m planning to request one if the situation doesn’t change very soon.

It’s a shame — it looked like a promising tool, but it turned out to be entirely inaccessible.

I asked 2 times the author to have a help for redeem my code, i'm getting an error message no matter what. He doesn't care about his customers service. he sole purpose is to sale as much possible license in mean time during Black Friday. So beware where you put your money, there is other alternatives for AI on Appsumo such as Pretty Prompt.
I'm not the only one who as faced this
I wil ask for a refund.
