sup9Q: costs at both role level and process-step level in Puzzle?
Hi Team,
Can we add costs at both role level and process-step level in Puzzle?
For example:
• A role like “Editor” has an hourly cost
• A process step like “Video Editing” uses that role + a tool cost
Can the same role and costs be used multiple times across different steps and processes?
Also, can one step have multiple costs (more than one role or tool), and is there any plan to auto-calculate total costs when a process runs many times?

Edited Dec 28, 2025A: Hey sup9, that is exactly how our process costing feature works today ✅:
↳ You assign an hourly cost to the role
↳ You input a time (in minutes) and frequency on the process step
↳ Then anytime that role is associated to a step it calculate the following formula:
(Time in minutes x Frequency per month)/60 )* Hourly Rate of associated role = Step cost
👉 Anytime you assign that same role to other steps, the same hourly rate is used to calculate the cost of those steps too. Then at a high level, you can see process-level costs per run, per month, and per year.
