Josefa_Q: Credit consumption usage
Hey Brian,
Loving nova and the continual updates, keep up the great work. I have a few questions, mainly regarding the AI and credit usage. Firstly, can we make the credit usage transparent? I've added $40 in credits so far and that seems to only last 3-4 prompts before being spent. Not every prompt required a lot of analysing, so it would be great to able to track usage.
Secondly, I read your previous response to the AI credits and agree that it's not feasible to expect credits with the LTD deal. However, can you allow LTD users to BYOK their own AI models? If so I'd like to suggest a collaboration with Straico a Open Router alternative that has a big LTD community that could be a great way to cross promote?
Last question, can you please share the link to the circle community? I had it and lost it.

1️⃣ Credit transparency — Totally fair ask. We're working on making token usage more visible so you can see exactly what each prompt costs. That's on our radar to launch in the next 4-6 weeks.
2️⃣ BYOK — This is something I'm definitely open to building. It's not on our immediate roadmap, but it makes sense — especially for LTD users who want to go heavy on Nova without worrying about credits. Let me take this item back to our product meeting to start the conversation. Appreciate the Straico suggestion too — we'll take a look as we explore this direction!
