Q: Puzzle With N8N
Hi
I'm using N8N. Can you explain how this tool would work with n8n? What value would it add?
I have a custom automation flow, that plans all my automation steps, generates JSON and then I import it into N8N and it's nearly ready.
How do you envision using your tool with n8n?
1) Can we use AI to 'map' a suggested workflow?
2) If we build a process in your flow, can we export to N8N and it will have the nodes all connected, etc.
I'm interested if it will help us map better automations, just would like to know more about it!

Edited Nov 5, 2025A: Hey Alex_R, yes I'm happy to answer your question about our upcoming n8n integration.
When a user integrates n8n to Puzzle, we'll pull in all your flows under that account, where each n8n flow = 1 step in Puzzle. When you add a flow to Puzzle, it creates a hyperlink to that flow to easily see all of its underlying actions (in n8n). Additionally, in Puzzle, users will see which n8n flows are already added to the map, and which ones are not, helping you reconcile which ones are already documented in the canvas.
Answer to your question 1): Separate from our n8n integration feature, you mentioned AI. We're working on an AI feature where you'll be able to copy & paste JSON, text-based workflow descriptions, or images of a workflow and our AI agent would replicate that flow in Puzzle. However these diagrams will not be "synced" or integrated with n8n.
Answer to your question 2): Referring to how the integration will work, 1 entire n8n flow = 1 step in Puzzle, so users won't be able to connect a Puzzle step to a specific node within an n8n flow.
Many users have expressed interest in node-based documentation for n8n (and Zapier actions and Make modules, which are the "node" equivalents in those systems), and it's something we're continuing to do research on to find the best way to enable granular documentation like that.
