Thank you for your interest and feedback. The key difference is the amount of cloud space offered. We'll consider your suggestion and let you know if we decide to offer a Pro package with more cloud space.
Currently, Affinity doesn’t offer an SDK or API, which means we can’t create an integration with it right now. However, we’ll keep an eye on it and will definitely explore the possibility if things change in the future.
What protections exist to ensure you aren't sharing our assets with unauthorized users?
Your terms grant broad and extensive rights to use AND transfer the content we upload, including potentially far-reaching usage. These terms could allow unauthorized users to use our images on their own apps or websites without the need for additional permissions, as long as it aligns with the functionality of the site.
Here are the terms I'm referring to specifically:
When you upload or post content to our site, you grant us the following rights to use that content: * a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable licence to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform that user-generated content in connection with the service provided by the website and across different media including to promote the site or the service forever; * a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable licence for other users, partners or advertisers to use the content in accordance with the functionality of the site.
~~~ QUESTIONS ~~~
1. What does the term ‘transferable license’ entail within the context of your app? Does it allow for my content to be shared beyond the users I initially authorize?
2. Will I be notified if my content is accessed or shared beyond the users I have authorized? Is there an audit trail feature to track this?
3. Could you further define "to use the content in accordance with the functionality of the site"? How do I know another user can't access my images/assets and start using them on their own app or website?
A: Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention.
We understand the importance of safeguarding your content and ensuring it is used appropriately. We have recently updated our Terms of Service to better address these issues and clarify our policies. Unfortunately, the updated version was not correctly linked on our website, but this has now been corrected.
Q: Seems cool and I would’ve supported but it doesn’t seem like you offering the enterprise level license just the basic.
If you do decide to have available the complete deal for the most cloud and access then let me know and I will support
