Q: Dubbing to another language

Is it possible to use Reap to clone my voice and then use it for creating a dubbed video?

For the Romanized text support for captions, can we include English, Simplified Chinese and romanized Chinese? Can we adjust the position of those captions and font type and colour?

Thank you.

A: Great questions — happy to clarify.

1) Voice cloning for dubbing

Yes — our dubbing does clone the source voice automatically.
• It preserves tone, pacing, and speaker characteristics
• Quality is already high-definition, but it’s not a perfect 1:1 match yet
• We’re actively improving this by integrating more advanced models while keeping it cost-efficient

So today: strong voice consistency across languages, with ongoing improvements toward full realism.

2) Romanized captions (English, Simplified Chinese, romanized Chinese)

Yes — fully supported.

We support:
• English
• Simplified Chinese
• Romanized Chinese (Pinyin)

You can generate and combine these as part of your caption workflows.

3) Caption styling

Yes — you can customize:
• Position
• Font type
• Color
• Size
• Styling/templates
