I'm a small business owner, and turning long-form videos into clips has been a long-time frustration for me for a few months now, until I found Reap! I had precise requests, especially with translations and the ability to add a segment if the clip is not what I really want it to start with. Reap delivered within minutes! I wish we could mark with a tickbox the clips I already used so it makes it easier to know what has been posted or not yet. I also had a few error messages while posting, ending with duplicate clips on my social media, but nothing major to remove a taco, as it was fixed the following day. Keep up the great work!

Reap was recommended to me in JUN 2025 which is when I purchased the AppSumo deal as well. I've been looking for a tool that can do what reap says it can do, but like the fella says, "I still haven't found what I'm looking for..."

Now, this is not to say that reap will always be this way. The roadmap is hopeful, especially the video editing suite that's in process.

My big issue is that, at present, I have to take what it gives me. I can tweak the captions, but I can't tweak the video. Also, I can't find where to limit the amount of videos it creates. It's always 20. Why? Also, I have to re-upload the same clip multiple times to get different lengths. Why?

So, it's a solid three tacos from me. It's a good enough tool that I'm going to keep my subscription.

It works perfectly. With just one URL (a 1 hour video), I got more than 30 clips (approximately 30 seconds each, as I configured).

In addition, I had a technical question for the support team, and they responded and resolved it very quickly.

The video editor has some limitations, but it's fair enough since it's not the main functionality of this software.

I would give 10 tacos. 5 for the software but also 5 for the team and the general attitude that they seem to be conducting themselves with.
I'm so happy I chose to invest in REAP. The latest updates are amazing and the team are very friendly, helpful and pro-active in responding to the feedback and even my suggestions/perspectives from a small business creator POV. its clear they are really implementing the roadmap with a very high level of development skill and speed.

This is a gamechanger for me as a solopreneuer that would rather focus on long form video - so when it comes to short form video for social media it has already saved me so much time. It is already making my workflow smoother - combining features of canva, capcut, descript and da vinci... YAY! and I dont have to mess around with an app on my phone either.

I'm really excited about the further planned developments.

The kind of development seen in a month is phenomenal. The transcription is highly accurate even with mixed languages used in communication. The exported video retains both the captions whereas this never worked 1st time in last 3 software I purchased.

I am counting on same pace and quality in future feature additions.. As asked earlier by someone, I am also looking for text to video or link to video b-rolls with high anticipation based on current development quality. While link videos have option on talk or presentation or games, the uploaded video should also get that option so faceless video frame change can also have option for zooming to active content region in presentation.

The 4k video processing took 3.5 hrs for 15mins video change from 16:9 to 9:16 frame. Hope that can be fixed for faster processing in upcoming updates. Not a concern for now though.
