Does exactly what it says, and does it GREAT!
My wife has started to take over the social media posting for PIFster, our nonprofit. She wanted subtitles on the videos we were posting, and I saw this, so I ordered at tier 2 and BAM!!! Amazing short video editing app!
This app is simple yet very robust. The transcripts are on point in spanish and english and the B rolls are really good as well, might need review but they way they are added is amazing. I love all the features, hopefully they keep adding more.

Pretty Clean Solution
I've been using RenderCut for 3 months and I'm pretty satisfied with its output. At times, it is a bit slow but overall worth the price and the purpose. The UI is minimal, no-nonsense approach, adding subtitles is a breeze. Love the product. Simple. Straightforward. Does what it's designed to do
I have several different SAAS's that can add subtitles as one of their offerings. None are as accurately timed as RenderCut. This in itself is RenderCut's greatest "pro".
--Then there's the ability to save custom templates--Awesome timesaver.
--Options for font, colour, size, placement and animation are comprehensive enough to cover what most people would need.
--Ability to bulk find-and-replace, as well as the ability to tweak the caption timestamps if necessary.
RenderCut does what it does. I like the fact that it isn't trying to 500 things--or 20 things--and doing them all in a mediocre way. It's much better that "all" it does is captions, but it's excellent at it. Better to be excellent at one thing that to do everything sub-par.
My only "con" (and the reason for 4 tacos instead of 5) is that we can't edit a video once it's rendered. To me this is a necessary feature. Even if re-working it cost a video upload (which basically it does now, because you have to re-upload and start from scratch). At least if we could edit rather than starting from scratch, it would save time and aggravation.
Other than that, if you need to add captions to videos on a regular basis, get this deal now.

I only use RenderCut to add subtitles to social media posts as I edit in adobe. So I'm very happy with the subtitle functions as the animated text is better than current option in my edit software.
I have a few functions I'd like to see in updated versions of RenderCut.
1 - Bulk upload of videos.
2 - Thumbnail download is PNG only, JPEG would be better as Instagram only allows JPEG
3 - English language selection is US English only, UK English would be nice option please.
So overall, this software does help speed up my work flow and very happy with my purchase
