A: The BYOK for extension and cloud is available on all tiers.
The BYOK for Rover, the embeddable web agent, is the only thing gated.
But remember the credits beyond just LLM inference are also used for datasets (LinkedIn, Zillow, Indeed) to enrich with, proxies routing, and cloud browser infrastructure.
We have calculator to estimate usage based on needs at: https://rtrvr.ai/appsumo
Q: My question is about something I asked before but I cannot mention it again as the sumo AI bot won't allow it twice
There has been an update to the plan that may change the answer to the previously answered question. I see that there has been an update to where one time credits are used first and then month (which is fine) but in the comment you mentioned that the one time credits rollover but didn’t mention that the monthly credits rollover.
I want to make sure I understand that both monthly and one time...

A: So due to feedback we updated structure so that monthly credits are consumed first, then only the activation credits.
Think of the monthly credits as a credit allowance.
As mentioned in the other reply, we are targetting credit consumption of between .5-5 credits with the extension and only up to 50 credits on the cloud.
Noticed users are burning credits on cloud platform using Gemini Pro,...
I believe I'm not asking this question properly and apologize for that. If you can say that monthly credits do not rollover into the next month then that would be helpful to hear it worded that way. Either "Unused monthly credits rollover into the next month so the user can use them" or "unused credits do not roll over into the next month so any unused credits remain unused"
Apologies, found it on the deal pricing section. For those curious, the deal pricing table states: All future Basic (Tier 1), Pro (Tier 2), Enterprise (Tiers 3, 4) plan updates.
Could you elaborate on white labelling? I’m not entirely clear on the concept.

A: The white labeling is for our Rover product (rtrvr.ai/rover) of embedding an agent into a website that can demo/onboard/troubleshoot users by typing/clicking/navigating on your live site.
You can fully customize and white label the embeddable with your own mascot, color schema, preset options.
2. Private mode means we can certify that there is Zero Data Retention on our end when you use the browser extension. All data is only stored locally, and all data processed on backend is strictly in...

Just to clarify, do unused monthly credits roll over (not the activation one, but monthly)?
Verified purchaser
unused monthly credits do not roll over

Q: Tier 3 vs 4
Aside from credits, could you explain the differences between Tier 3 and Tier 4 (both current and potentially future)?
Arjun_RetrieverAI
Aug 4, 2026A: The main difference between Tier 3 and Tier 4 is credits and the number of websites you can embed Rover on.

Are these tiers comparable to the ones on your website’s pricing page, Basic, Pro, Enterprise, and Scale?

Q: Trigger jobs via Whatsapp?
Hi
1. Any demo on how to trigger job via whatsapp?
Trigger jobs via API, MCP, WhatsApp, or on a schedule
2. What is the private mode mean?
3. If using BYOK, will it use my BYOK key first or Retriever Ai first?
Thanks
