Q: What exactly make credits expire
Hi, I'm both super excited and concerned as I'm considering to add Sbl.so to my tool list. First off - Sbl looks beyond amazing.
I'd like to get clarification on somewhat blurry credit expiration terms.
1. It seems it is not a lifetime deal for credits, as FAQs on Appsumo for Sbl states that credits will expire unless "your account is active and reach-outs are happening" AND "As long as you're running campaigns, you have absolutely nothing to worry about" - so which is it:
1.1. account is active = i log in every x months
1.2. reachouts are happening / running campaigns - does this mean i need to use Sbl in a specific way for credits remain? What if I use lead sourcing, but not running outreach? What if i look at existing contacts not making new?
2. if I do that said action, would renewal be for another 32 months, or what duration?

Apr 26, 2026A: Really glad sbl.so caught your attention, and these are exactly the right questions to ask before committing!
Let me clear up the credit expiry once and for all.
On "account active" vs "reach-outs happening":
These mean the same thing in our context. An active account on sbl.so is one that is running campaigns and doing outreach. Simply logging in does not count as active usage. If you are sourcing leads but not running any outreach, that does count as inactivity from a credit standpoint. The credits are tied to outreach activity specifically.
On what exactly expires:
If your account goes completely inactive with zero outreach happening beyond your tier's phase window, the unused credits expire. Tier 1 is 6 months, Tier 2 is 14 months, Tier 3 is 32 months.
On renewal duration:
As long as even a single outreach action happens before the phase ends, your credits carry forward. It is not a fixed reset to another 32 months, it is a rolling carry forward as long as the account stays active with outreach going out.
The simple version:
Run campaigns, credits never expire. Go fully dormant beyond your phase window, they do.
Follow up: would you consider removing this expiration limit, since this is a lifetime deal, ltd usually never expire. I'd buy this right away then:D

The limits are meant to make it sustainable for a long run. Also the credit policy incentivises active users, which makes our Sbl ecosystem more powerful.
Considering the LTD comes with huge loaded credits, it serves majority of your usecase and even if it gets expired - you can top it up at $60 for 10k credits. Which is JUST $0.006 per linkedin outreach.

Using SBL promises you results. And if you REALLY reach your credits i.e, 10k-75k outreach. You're gonna make 100x more money on what you spent on us. So, a win win for all here.
Usually, if you sell not a lifetime deal, but credits, like you do, they should not expire. I appreciate the detailed breakdown, but the point of buying early stage things like yours is to sometimes - well - wait for you to build them. The terms are obscure..
