Q: Merchant of Record integrations
I wanted to ask whether you currently support, or plan to support, integrations with Merchant of Record providers such as Paddle, Lemon Squeezy, FastSpring, or similar solutions.
This would be very important for my use case because a traditional payment gateway does not fully solve the compliance side of selling internationally. For digital products and services, especially when selling across the EU, UK, US, and other markets, the seller often has to manage VAT, sales tax, invoicing, refunds, chargebacks, tax remittance etc
- Does Selldone currently support any Merchant of Record integrations?
- Is there a way to connect an external checkout provider such as Paddle or Lemon Squeezy while keeping Selldone as the storefront?
- Are MoR integrations on your roadmap?

Actually, as a European company, we are very familiar with the tax and compliance challenges merchants face across different countries and regions.
Merchant of Record has been on our internal roadmap and in our vision for years. In fact, we have been discussing this concept internally since 2022, around the same time we launched our marketplace builder and started designing some of our more advanced dropshipping capabilities.
Our long-term goal has always been the same: simplify commerce as much as possible while helping businesses keep more of their profit and deal with less operational complexity. This applies to everyone in the Selldone ecosystem, but especially to our merchants and marketplace owners.
This is the same philosophy that led us to integrate services such as Printful and Printify, and later provide APIs and infrastructure for different dropshipping models. Everything we build is aimed at making selling easier, more profitable, and less stressful for businesses.
At the moment, our primary focus is Selldone Genesis. Once Genesis is launched, we will continue delivering the other roadmap initiatives one by one, and features that reduce tax, compliance, payment, and operational burdens for sellers are certainly among the areas we want to improve.
Regards,
Alireza
