Q: Mother of all Stores? (pretty please)

Hey there, please let me know:

1. Docs ‪➝ Please point me to the public documentation (most I found was tips, support responses, ... but no dedicated docs?

2. Multi-Tenancy vs Isolated vs Shared Backend ‪➝ Can you confirm strict backend isolation of legal aspects (tax, data, etc.) and related compliance? Got a related Pointer, pls?

3. Variants/Config ‪➝ I couldn’t find details about a "custom Configurator" (customer-facing) or Variants, Options, and related limits (e.g., max allowed, nesting).

4. License/Keys [Different Store]‪ ➝ Do you support license keys (one-time, tiered, ...), incl. creation, activation (+tracking), customer-initiated reset/restore, and enforcement (non-payment, renewal issues)?

5. Memberships [Different Store] ‪➝ Do you support automating paid community access (e.g., Discord) with full lifecycle management?

A: Hey buddy,
Thanks for you questions.
1-Docs
Totally fair point. Selldone is a pretty large platform now, so historically a lot of information ended up spread between guides, support answers, and onboarding articles instead of one giant enterprise-style documentation portal.

That said, we do have a public help center covering most major areas like domains, payments, marketplaces, shipping, AI tools, automation, etc:
https://selldone.com/help/189

A lot of our users also rely heavily on live support because many setups are very business-specific.

2-Multi-Tenancy / Isolation

Yes. While Selldone runs on centralized cloud infrastructure, each business/store is isolated on the operational side — products, customers, orders, taxes, accounting, permissions, vendor data, and configurations are separated per business.

Also important: merchants connect their own payment gateways directly (Stripe, PayPal, local gateways, etc.), so funds go directly to the business owner, not through Selldone.

Most enterprise users asking this question are usually worried about data leakage or shared operational access between stores — that’s not how the platform works.

3-Variants / Configurator

Yes, definitely. Variants are one of the strongest parts of the platform.

You can create combinations like color/size/material/storage/etc., bulk generate matrices, assign images per variant, apply different pricing/inventory, and use category-based specifications and filters.

A lot of users also build advanced product experiences on top of this using our dynamic page builder and custom sections instead of relying on third-party configurator plugins.

License / Keys

4-Yes — Selldone already supports digital/downloadable/virtual products and many software sellers use it for licenses and access-based products.

You can manage customer access, digital delivery flows, subscriptions, and virtual products inside the same ecosystem instead of connecting multiple external tools together.

For highly custom licensing workflows (activation tracking, restore limits, enforcement logic, etc.), many sellers usually handle part of the logic through their own service/backend while using Selldone for commerce, subscriptions, checkout, automation, and customer management.

5-Memberships / Community Access

Yes. Subscription and membership-style businesses are supported already, including recurring payments depending on the payment provider.

For communities like Discord/private access groups, most people connect them through automation flows, APIs, webhooks, or external automation services.

One thing many users like is that they can manage storefront, subscriptions, customer accounts, affiliate systems, landing pages, and memberships from one place instead of stitching together 10 different SaaS products.

Also, one of the biggest advantages of Selldone is our agile development culture. We strongly support entrepreneurs and startups, so when we repeatedly see practical demand for a feature, we move very fast on it.

Back in our first AppSumo launch, Selldone had around 200 native features. Today we’re close to 1,600 built-in features — all developed natively without relying on plugin ecosystems.

In fact, many of our biggest features today came directly from user requests and real business use cases from the community.
You can submit any feature request on: https://selldone.com/community/5-feature-request

We are here for you. Just ask
Regards,
Alireza

Thanks for the details. That surface a new question: Digital goods are charged at 3% (from Net value without VAT, correct?) & payment provider is on my end (taking their cut too): How are scenarios like Trial Periods, Refunds, Chargebacks, ... handled? Since such things eat quite enough time on their own, I`d hate the idea starting creating tickets & waiting for refunds of fees. Any docs on that?

Hey bud,
We calculate the selldone fee on transactions and don't exclude anything which is super complicated. We see at the end of the month that you let's say $1000 then we charge 3%. Please note that we are flexible with refunds. No worries about that.
