Q: Security to Prevent Hacks and Intrusions

Hello, I was wondering if you had safeguards in place such as: do you perform automated daily backups of store data including theme files, product catalog, customer lists, and uploaded media? How long are backups retained? Can you as a store owner export or download a full backup yourself at any time, or are backups only accessible through support? If your Selldone store was accidentally deleted or corrupted, what is the restoration process and timeline?
On 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication): Does Selldone support 2FA on store owner accounts currently? If not, what is the timeline for implementing it? What other account security measures are in place (login attempt limits, suspicious login alerts, etc.)? To create a resonable store size with products requires a lot of work, so I think these are important questions.

Thanks for your thoughtful questions. Security and data protection are extremely important to us.

Backups: All store data is backed up automatically every day across multiple backup layers as part of our platform infrastructure.

Backup retention: If a store is accidentally deleted, we can restore the complete store and its data for up to 2 weeks upon request through our support team.

Products: Even if a product is deleted, its data can still be restored.

Orders: Order data is never permanently deleted.

2FA: Yes, Selldone currently supports Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for account security.

Additional protection: We use multiple layers of platform-level security to protect stores against unauthorized access and other security threats.

For extra peace of mind, merchants can also export important business data such as products and customers and keep their own local backups if they wish.

We take the security and integrity of merchants' data very seriously and have built multiple safeguards to protect it.
