Promising concept, but not ready for serious outreach yet

I have been using Sendpilot for about a month, which is enough time to form a solid opinion. The marketing and communication that brought me here were genuinely good, and the product does have real innovation at its core. But after daily use, the gap between the promise and the reality is hard to ignore.

What works well
The standout feature is the ICP lead scoring. This is genuinely new. LinkedIn searches are notoriously hard to filter at scale, and being able to score prospects against your ideal customer profile before sending invitations is a real time-saver. It changes how you approach mass outreach. The lead database search is also a nice addition when the data is up to date, as it speeds up prospecting significantly. There is also an AI content creation feature, though I personally have no use for it. AI-generated posts have become so widespread that audiences are tuning them out, so I would not count this as a selling point.
What is missing or broken
This is where the product falls short compared to tools like Lemlist or Getsales that I used before. Several features that should be standard are either absent or only appearing now as "new" releases, when they should have been there from day one:

No easy way to edit or correct lead data when LinkedIn returns incorrect information
No way to pause or stop an action on a specific lead when you spot an error
No A/B testing
No filtering leads by stage within a campaign
Recurring bugs, including campaigns going down entirely
The ICP scoring is powerful but not practical in the actual workflow. You cannot filter your lists and add only active leads to a campaign, which limits its usefulness
New features being announced are just basic functionalities that competitors already had. Deleting a lead, for example, is not an innovation

Overall
There is genuine ambition here and the ICP scoring alone shows original thinking. But in a market where outreach only works when campaigns are highly personalized and technically smooth, having to work around constant limitations defeats the purpose. Right now you spend more time finding workarounds than actually prospecting.

Great idea, but serious concerns around reliability

I was genuinely excited about this deal because the concept itself is solid. A LinkedIn outreach and content platform in one dashboard sounded promising.

Unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing. Support has been completely non existent, with no responses despite multiple attempts to get assistance. Even more concerning, it appears the company page and Oskar's LinkedIn account have been banned. For a tool built around LinkedIn outreach, that immediately raises major concerns around stability and long term confidence.

As a customer, I understand things can happen, but communication matters. Right now there is little visibility, little support, and not much reassurance that the product will be maintained going forward.

Based on my experience so far, I can't recommend it.

Can't create my account

Tried to activate my deal today, a bit later than usual, but after following the basic instructions, I got stuck on the pricing page. Not sure why it wants me to sign up for a plan, as this is an LTD account. Tried to take the free trial option, and that gave an error. Then used the email provided by AppSumo to contact support, but it doesn't exist... all this makes me wonder if this app is still active. Also noticed that Oskar's LinkedIn account was removed, and there's no sign of Sendpilot on LinkedIn at all... hmmm. Time to refund, I guess.

Great concept but unreliable execution.

⭐ Honest Review of Sendpilot

I really wanted Sendpilot to work because, on paper, it’s exactly the kind of tool I was looking for: a simple LinkedIn outreach platform with campaign sequences, automation, and a lifetime deal via AppSumo.

Unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing.

## What works well

The UI is clean and intuitive. Setting up campaigns, building sequences, and defining delays or follow-ups is straightforward, even for someone without a technical background.

The campaign builder is actually well designed:
- you can easily create flows with delays and conditional logic
- managing leads and sequences feels simple and clear
- the onboarding experience is smooth

I was able to set up campaigns quickly and even successfully sent a test message, which confirmed that the system can work.

## The main issue

The problem is with the core functionality: message execution.

After setting up campaigns properly:
- campaigns were active
- sending windows were correctly configured
- timezone was checked
- LinkedIn account was connected
- messages were clearly being scheduled

…but no messages were actually sent.

Even more concerning:
- the number of scheduled messages kept increasing over time (2 → 5 → 7+)
- none of them were executed
- this persisted for hours during active sending windows

## Extensive testing performed

To make sure this wasn’t a configuration issue, I ran multiple tests:

- reconnected my LinkedIn account
- duplicated campaigns
- verified timezone (including UTC vs local)
- created a second workspace to isolate the issue
- ran both simple campaigns and follow-up sequences
- tested manual LinkedIn messaging (which worked perfectly)
- confirmed that a message had previously been sent successfully

Despite all this, the result remained the same:
messages are scheduled, but never sent.

## Technical observation

From a user perspective, it clearly looks like:

- the scheduler is working (messages queue correctly)
- but the execution layer is not working (nothing is sent)

This makes the issue particularly frustrating because:
- the system appears functional
- but in reality does not perform its main job

## Overall experience

This creates a lack of trust in the tool.

There is:
- no clear indication of what is wrong
- no error or warning shown to the user
- no visibility into whether messages are stuck, paused, or failing

As a result, it becomes very difficult to rely on the platform for actual outreach.

## Final verdict

Sendpilot has strong potential. The product design, UX, and campaign builder are genuinely good.

However, in its current state, it feels unstable and unreliable for real usage.

For me, the tool is currently unusable because:
- messages are scheduled but not executed
- the system gives no feedback about the issue
- even basic campaigns fail despite correct setup

## Recommendation

I would only recommend Sendpilot if:
- you are still in a testing phase
- or you are willing to deal with potential instability

Otherwise, I would wait until reliability issues—especially around message sending—are fully resolved.
