Amazing Tool for Understanding Visitor Behaviour!

It offers a clean, intuitive dashboard where I can see live visitor stats immediately after installing the tracking code — no waiting. I also love that it’s cookie-less and performance-friendly, so it doesn’t bog down the site or compromise user privacy.

A Simple, Privacy-Friendly Alternative to Google Analytics

It's a very good product, easy navigation, the site works fast, it would be nice if you added search console keyword integration

Beautiful Dashboard, Broken Promises: A Warning for SiteBehaviour Buyers

I really want to like this app. The dashboard is beautiful and makes it easy to view metrics. However, the app isn’t ready for release. It makes me wonder how so many rave reviews exist when the app, at minimum, lacks several advertised features. Many of those glowing reviews are short and vague, giving the impression they may be from shills.

There’s also the fact that earlier reviewers pointed out similar shortcomings months ago, if not a year ago, and those issues still haven’t been resolved.

After waiting nearly 60 days before my opportunity for a refund expired, I saw no updates or reconciliation of broken features.

My warning for future buyers is to thoroughly test and evaluate before leaving a review. Here is a list for buyers to T&E:

1.) Support: It was responsive at first but quickly dropped off. You can expect someone from the app’s team to reply to this review, but it shouldn’t take a negative post to get their attention.

2.) Follow-up: When Support does respond, they often admit that a promoted feature doesn’t actually exist but claim they’re “working on it.” Other times, the replies feel evasive. This aligns with similar Support complaints from January through March 2025.

3.) False Advertising (“Scrolling Patterns”): The feature advertised here (https://www.sitebehaviour.com/features/heatmaps) doesn’t actually exist. The agency admitted as much, saying it would “return later this year.” Another reviewer reported this same issue back in March 2025.

4.) Filtering: The filter doesn’t truly filter events. When I tried to filter events, the function didn’t work properly. Support acknowledged it but gave a confusing explanation that the “Events” filter is meant for visitors, which makes no sense when there’s already a Visitors category. I asked for clarification, but Support never replied.

5.) Missing Features: The “add city, state, and organization” feature, marked as “Done” on the agency’s roadmap, does not exist. This feels deceptive. I reached out to Support about why it’s marked completed, but again, I received no reply.

In summary, I caution potential buyers to verify each of these points before purchasing. I believe the critical reviews dating back to January 2025 are far more credible than the one-line raves that lack substance.

Hi,

We’ve never asked anyone for a positive review; you won’t find a single email or prompt from us requesting one since you signed up for SiteBehaviour.

I want to clarify a few points for transparency. Our support handles over 6,000 active users, and while simple queries are answered quickly, technical issues that require developer input (like yours) can take up to 7–14 days since they often...

Great alternative

We see SiteBehaviour as a great alternative to GA. The GUI is easy understandable. What we appreciate that they realize that GDPR and European legal regulations are important for those there. Server base in Europe is a must therefore. Thats they bring to you. Give it a try.
