I wasn’t sure whether this product would work for me, but I’m glad I gave it a chance! I really like the fact that they offer several integrations with auto responders, and the LinkedIn search pulls actual names- something I have been struggling to find for many months.

I’ve been searching for a tool that truly understands the needs of local SEO—something that can help me find potential clients, reach out to them professionally, and manage everything in one clean CRM. After trying different platforms, I finally found exactly what I needed in SmatLeads. It brings all the essential pieces together in a way that actually feels built for real agency workflows. I’m excited to see how far I can take this, and I’m confident things will move in a strong, positive direction.

don’t usually write reviews, but I felt I had to for this one. The app looked promising at first, but now it says it can’t find my login. I can’t even reset my password using the same email I signed up with yesterday, even though I received the welcome email. Today I can’t log in or reset my password at all.On top of that, during the 30–60 minutes I used it, the app felt rushed and unpolished, like it was just thrown together. I wouldn’t trust it for real-world use, so I’ve requested a refund.

I rarely write reviews on Appsumo but this is NOT A FUNCTIONAL APP! Sumolings beware. ⚠️

I was hopeful after seeing SmatLeads on Appsumo for over 1 year and seeing some positive (maybe fake?) reviews.
But right after redeeming my code I got NUMEROUS dealbreaker errors including:

1. "404 - page not found" right after signup

2. broken links and redirects EVERYWHERE including the support button, and dashboard

3. Different misspellings of app name and different URLS throughout the UI (is it SmatLeads.io, Smatleads.com, Smartleads.com?????)

4. A random youtube video embed of a live times square concert where the Google API video instructions was supposed to be

6. Useless and incomplete results for Google and Linkedin search (only 60 results for dentists in a 30mi radius in a major metropolitan area??? I think not)

7. "Account not found" when I log out and try to log back in

8. Random videos of "What is marketing" in the resources section

9. No instructions in many of the core pages like GBP search, CRM, Email etc. (plus instructions videos on SmatLeads' youtube page are 1+ year old)

...I can go on and on about all the problems I ran into.

Needless to say, after trying to get it to work I refunded.

That's 1.5 hours of my life I'll never get back 😤

Appsumo needs to do better to review and remove apps that have been listed for a while and are clearly broken, abandoned, or not ready for users.

Maybe now that Noah's back he can clean things up and build the Appsumo reputation back up again.

Limited Integrations: It also lacks integration with some popular tools like Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, or Zoom, but offers API and Zapier integration options.

Poor User Interface: The user interface is clunky, potentially slowing down users and diverting time from their goals.
