This is not a good tool
The software I purchased was never good.
Step 1. Think of a cool company name and buy a domain.
Step 2. Go to Fiverr and pay a developer to create a Saas or use ChatGPT to make it yourself.
Step 3. Integrate your tool with the OpenAI API.
Step 4. Update the home page website's H1 tag to "AI Powered."
Step 5. List tool on Appsumo.
Step 6. Go on a cruise and sip Pina Coladas with the money from Appsumo.
Step 7. List your AI tool on the investors market and sell the company out for big $$$.
Step 8. Run to the bank laughing on the way, specifically at all the Appsumo members who purchased your tool.
Step 9. Rinse and repeat process.
I'm realizing it's better to just let the big dogs like OpenAI, Claude, and Google have time to cook because investing in these small AI start-ups while innovating at the time becomes obsolete within months. The big dogs eventually make a tool to replace it and probably buy out these small AI companies' proprietary software in the process.

Disappointment - AppSumo
Disappointment - AppSumo, what's the answer to this? We are loyal customers, we deserve respect. Doesn't our money have any value??
It's a whole bunch of "eternal" products dying.

Another one bites the dust
AI-based LTDs are getting harder and harder to sustain. In this case, the question is: Why would you want Socrates when you can have NotebookLM? The smaller the differentiation, the bigger the burn rate in the startup. If you purchase AI deals on AppSumo, you should immediately build a Plan B, learning from your purchase and figuring out how you can accomplish the workflow with other AI tools. RIP Socrates!

Going out of business after one year
The Socrates app will cease operations on May 31. First, it was Alphana, and now it appears that Blogify is following suit. At this rate, I'm losing confidence in AppSumo apps because I can't predict which ones might close next. It feels like I've only paid for a one-year subscription. I should have purchased the one-year subscription directly from their website instead of opting for the lifetime deal on AppSumo. That way, I wouldn't be impacted if they went out of business. Socrates has decided to close after the mandatory one-year period to avoid issuing refunds. Now, I’m left wondering which of my apps will be the next to fail.
