Q: AI for Appsumo customer?

What AI features have been released and/or are being developed for the platform? Will Appsumo plans be included or is this campaign being used to get capital to build and add those features to subscription holders?

A: Hi TetanicRaptor,

Great questions - and I appreciate you asking directly because I want to address the underlying concern here.

**AI Features Released & In Development:** SuiteAi is the name of a collection of AI features. The first of those are already live - including in-place content generation across the entire platform (Forms, Proposals, emails, documents, and more) as well as AI image generation. Many other AI features are already in development or planning, including Knowledge Bases with Silos, Silo Specialists (AI chatbots trained on your specific knowledge), AI Support Replies, AI Logic Engine, AI Data Processing Custom Fields, Portal Assistant, and more. These features may be segmented by plans, but you are buying Pinnacle, which is our top plan - so you would have the most access as it relates to subscription plans.

**AI Usage & Service Subscriptions:** The AI usage is covered by Service Subscriptions, and I want to explain our philosophy here. Service Subscriptions exist in cases where ongoing usage has a variable cost - things like AI credits, email deliverability, and hosted video. These logically can't be included in any Plan or LTD. Here's why: if we tried to offer a flat rate instead of a variable rate, there would be users who are very heavy users (and they would have every right to be), but that heavy usage would cost us an enormous amount of money. We would be losing money on those customers, which is what would eventually drive us out of business - and that's certainly not something we want, and certainly not something you want.

When a Service we provide has variable costs based on usage, our policy is to find the best rates possible and pass those costs directly to you without any markup - we don't profit on these Services. This aligns with our goal of keeping SuiteDash affordable for small and medium-sized businesses worldwide. If you don't need the Service, you don't pay for it. If you do, you pay a reduced cost that is as close as possible to "wholesale pricing" which ultimately saves you money. You only pay for your usage in this model - instead of paying for a plan that maybe you use heavily, but maybe you don't.

**Power-Ups - Same Logic:** Power-Ups follow a similar philosophy. By making advanced features available as Power-Ups, only the companies that need those features pay for the additional cost of their development and maintenance. The companies that don't need them are able to use the platform for a reasonable price that's not affected by Power-Up features - because those features are already covered by the revenue stream that the Power-Up creates.

**Are AppSumo LTD Customers Included?** Absolutely yes - and I want to address the implication in your question directly.

We don't just "include" LTD customers - we highly value them. This might sound counterintuitive to how most SaaS companies think, but here's our perspective: LTD customers are invested in our platform's success. They've made a commitment. They don't silently churn like monthly subscribers who hit a roadblock and just cancel. Instead, they give us detailed feedback, report issues, suggest improvements, and become vocal advocates when we deliver.

Most SaaS companies have to pay for that kind of customer research and engagement. We get it from a Community of customers who are motivated to help us improve because they own a stake in the platform's future.

The pricing and structure of what AppSumo customers receive is very clear and very generous - and we add more to the Pinnacle plan all the time. Your investment today will be worth more and more over time as we continue to add features and refinements. Some new features will be part of a Power-Up, but many dozens of others are included in Pinnacle, which is the license level you are getting with AppSumo.

We're not using this campaign to build features only for subscription holders. That's not how we operate, and frankly, that's not how we think. LTD customers are valued as important members of our Community.
