Q: Do you have any RIA/Financial Advisor customers?

I’m evaluating SuiteDash for my RIA and need to ensure it meets SEC Rule 17a-4 recordkeeping standards. Does your platform support the following:

1. Real-time Capture: Can all edits and deletions be streamed via API in real-time to an external archive, or only through periodic exports?

2. Audit Trail: Do logs include exact timestamps and user IDs for every single modification or deletion?

3. Re-creation: Can the system reconstruct a record exactly as it first appeared if it's later modified or deleted?

4. Global Search: Can I run firm-wide admin searches for prompt regulatory requests?

5. API & Deletions: Will standard API limits handle high-volume compliance archiving? Also, since your docs say deleted projects "cannot be undone", is there a way to retain these for regulatory compliance?

A: Hi there,

I appreciate the detailed questions. I'll be straightforward with you - while we do have users in financial services, I can't claim that SuiteDash is specifically designed for SEC Rule 17a-4 compliance. Let me address what I can:

1. **Real-time Capture:** We have API and Webhooks available, but I can't guarantee they would meet the specific real-time streaming requirements for SEC compliance archiving.

2. **Audit Trail:** We do have activity logging within the platform, but I'm not certain it captures the level of detail required for SEC recordkeeping standards.

3. **Re-creation:** We don't currently have a built-in feature to reconstruct records exactly as they first appeared after modification or deletion.

4. **Global Search:** No, we don't have something that reaches those capabilities.

5. **API & Deletions:** Our platform is not designed for this type of use.

My honest assessment: What you're trying to achieve is not what SuiteDash was designed for. If SEC Rule 17a-4 compliance is a hard requirement for your RIA, you'll likely need a dedicated compliance archiving solution.

Thanks,

Mike
