Q: Does SuiteDash support displaying multiple taxes as separate lines after the subtotal (not as line items)?

I’m evaluating SuiteDash as a long-term agency platform.

In some regions (for example Canada/Quebec), invoices are legally required to display multiple taxes as separate tax lines after the subtotal, before the final total.

At the moment, the only way to show multiple taxes in SuiteDash manual invoices is to add them as line items, which makes them appear like products or services instead of taxes. While calculations are correct, the layout is not compliant or professional for agency use.

Is there any plan to:

- Allow multiple taxes to appear in the tax section (below subtotal)?

- Customize how tax lines are displayed on invoices?

This would be important for agencies operating in multi-tax regions.

The platform looks very solid overall, so I’m mainly trying to understand how flexible the invoicing system can become over time.

A: Hi Sam,

Thank you for the kind words about the platform - we appreciate this feedback.

To be direct with you: what you're describing - multiple taxes displayed as separate lines below the subtotal rather than as line items - is not how our current invoice system works. You've correctly identified the limitation.

We are aware of this need. We've received similar requests from users in Canada, parts of Europe, and other multi-tax jurisdictions, and we are working to provide solutions in this direction. It already has a placeholder in the development pipeline. I'm sorry I can't give you a specific timeline, but it is on our radar.

If compliant multi-tax invoice display is a hard requirement for your agency right now, I want you to have that information before making a purchasing decision. You may need to evaluate whether the current workaround is acceptable for your situation or whether this is a dealbreaker.

The platform is solid overall, as you noted, and we are continually improving - but I'd rather be transparent about where we are today than overpromise on what's coming.

Thanks for considering SuiteDash, and for the thoughtful question.

Thanks,

Mike

Hi Mike,
Thanks for the clear and transparent reply, I really appreciate it.

Knowing that this limitation is acknowledged and already on your radar is enough for me to move forward. I understand roadmap realities, and your honesty here gives me confidence in the long-term direction of the platform.

The platform looks very solid overall, and I’m happy to invest with that understanding.

Thank you

My pleasure :)

Honored that you see the potential and trust the company!

We are FULL SPEED and on a great path forward!
