Q: RTL Language

Hi
I read the questions and answers of other users who had asked RTL compatibility of suitedash.
I understand that officially you do now support RTL but I also read that some people have managed to pull it off using CSS and translation.
I would not mind doing the same with some guidance for you or if possible to find out what and how the other did it.
is that an option?
My main concern is that the system will allow me to send email in my RTL language and being able to customize any from end (what users will see) to my needs

thanks in advance

A: Hi Alechko,

Sorry, we don't support RTL. That doesn't mean we don't think it's important or worth our time, it just means that it hasn't yet risen to the top of our priorities. As an All-in-One platform, we have MANY items to consider. They are all good options, but we have to prioritize, and we do that based on the feedback from our Community. I definitely agree with you, and if I had a magic switch, it would be immediately used to enable RTL and open up SuiteDash to the huge opportunities in the Arab world - but, I don't, so we'll continue to evaluate based on our Community-based criteria.

Hope that helps!

Thanks,

Mike

Hi
It would be great if you could read my question and answer it.
that was the answer you gave someone else that had asked about the "Arab world"
my question is different

We don't support RTL. As to workarounds as you describe, we have no knowledge or advice as to how that might be done, sorry.

I would love to be able to help, but sorry I can't.

Mike

I mean this answer you gave someone
https://i.imgur.com/ROUlzDo.jpeg

"Sorry, RTL is not officially supported, but we do have some customers who have had success using custom CSS in addition to Translation to create a working RTL portal. That's outside our official support, but I know it has been done."

That could help all of us looking to buy your product and use it with an RTL language
Thanks

Hi again,

I understand what you're saying, but again... we don't have any real knowledge about how this was done, but have only heard from several sources that they have accomplished "some version of it" that was acceptable to them.

We can't endorse anything we didn't build, and I can't offer you any advice on how to accomplish it. Maybe someone else here can, or maybe in the Community.

Mike
