If you want to use it on a WordPress site AND you want to sync it with WordPress AND you are ok with a longer setup (notifications, emails, WhatsApp \ Instagram integration), the WordPress version could be better.

The cloud version (AppSumo) is more easy to setup but it does not include the WP integrations of the WP version (WooCommerce app, extended user synching, etc). Said that, it works well on a WordPress site and there is also a WordPress Plugin for this Cloud version (https://wordpress.org/plugins/support-board-cloud/).
