SupportBoard is easy to set up + great customer support

I signed up last year and started using it right away.
Now a year later, here's my experience:

❶ SETUP 🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮
Setup was easier than anticipated. I had planned for a multi-day setup until I get this into working condition and was pleasantly surprised at how user-friendly the platform was designed. Even with all the customizations, this felt effortless and fun.
Of course, to make chat bot answers become sophisticated and matching the chat conversation from users on the site, you'll have to train it.

❷ NOTIFICATIONS 🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮
Just like Intercom, you'll have omnichannel communication, which allows you to get notified per email, WhatsApp, etc. so you won't miss a message and can keep the conversation going.

❸ SUPPORT 🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮
I contacted support and received a response within 24 hours. It's been over a year since I signed up and companies on AppSumo vary largely on customer support, especially long after active promotions end. It tells me that Support Board is here to stay, so an investment into working with them is more likely to benefit you long term.

❹ WISH LIST 🌮🌮🌮
As of July 2026, it seems the AI support is for ChatGPT and Gemini, not (yet) for Claude.

Support Board

Support Board has been an excellent addition to our workflow. The automation features have saved us countless hours by handling customer conversations efficiently and consistently. Its Meta messaging integration works smoothly, making it much easier to stay connected with customers and manage communications without constant manual effort.

The interface is intuitive, setup is straightforward, and the platform has been reliable even with a high volume of conversations. The support team is also responsive and helpful whenever assistance is needed.

One of the better AI chat apps we have used

Overall, I’m very happy with this tool and would rate it around 4.5 Tacos, though the system only allows full taco ratings.

The main challenge I encountered was navigating the menu structure during the initial setup. Some features were not immediately intuitive to locate, which made the onboarding process take longer than expected. The documentation was helpful and provided the guidance I needed, but I do think the onboarding experience could be improved with a more current walkthrough video. Several of the available YouTube tutorials appear to be a few years old, and an updated introduction would likely help new users get up and running more quickly.

It took me roughly a full day to configure everything exactly the way we wanted. That said, once the setup was complete, the platform has performed very well. The features and overall capabilities have met our expectations, and it has been a solid addition to our workflow.

One additional suggestion would be offering an Agency license option on AppSumo. We manage multiple sites and would gladly deploy this tool across several projects, but purchasing separate one off licenses for each site is not ideal.

Overall, this is a strong product and I have no regrets about purchasing it. With a smoother onboarding experience and an updated setup video, it would be even better for new users.

Amazing integration capability once you get set up

I bought the 4 code package for $276 a few months ago and thoroughly satisfied with it.

My biggest tip is to train the AI model by feeding it your xml maps (eg. pages xml and products xml). That single thing improved the quality of the AI responses for me, massively.

Great integrations. One of the few I've seen that incorporates WeChat.

Support has always gotten back to me, even on non-simple questions.
