A: This is a really fair question, and the fact that you're weighing it carefully tells us you've been burned before, we have also seen this kind of reviews on competitors product and we take it seriously. So let me be straight with you.

On the Tier 4/5 change: you read it exactly right. We heard the "is this bait to push us to monthly?" concern, looked at it honestly, and removed the confusion. That's how we want to operate, in the open, with the feedback loop actually changing things.

On future roadmap and paywalls: the deal we're making with AppSumo backers is simple. What your tier covers, it covers for the lifetime of your license. New features that fall inside the scope of what you bought come to you as part of the deal, not behind a new paywall. We're not going to ship something, fold it into your tier during the campaign to win the sale, and then claw it back later. Genuinely new, separately-scoped product lines down the road may be their own thing, but the core app-building capabilities your tier promises stay yours. You're backing us early precisely so you're not the one paying for future paywalls, and we intend to honor that.

On OpenRouter: great suggestion, and you're right that it would let us cover a huge range of models through one endpoint instead of integrating each provider. Today the AI feature supports bring-your-own-key for OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, DeepSeek, and Z.ai. OpenRouter isn't in yet, but it's a clean fit for our BYOK model and I'm adding it to the roadmap. It's exactly the kind of "support everything through one key" move we like.
